We in the states have been through a 9/11, a Boston Muslim bombing, a Muzzie shooting in Chattanooga, etc.. The teacher exercised due diligence. The kid is a Muslim with a smart aleck Muslim pappy who sees $$$$$$$$$$ in this “situation”. - The kid acted in a smart aleck way when given due diligence orders by the teacher to put the da*m machine up & QUIT plugging it in. - If your kid got blown up by a Muslim kid, or got his legs blown off by the kid; you’d be righteously hot. - To h-e-double hockey sticks with monkeying around with this “clock”.
The usual punishment for misbehaving students is: a detention; a trip to the Principal’s office; or perhaps a suspension.
If there was a security threat here, the moronic teacher, and anyone else involved in calling the police (when the shop teacher could have cleared everything up) made things much worse. The device wasn’t a bomb — it was a clock. As shop projects go, it was pretty crappy — but, it wasn’t a bomb.
