One thing everyone has to give Trump credit for is getting people interested. I don't know anyone who didn't watch the debate. That's good, because even rabid liberals were saying that there were a few people on that stage who are much better than hillary could ever be. The other positive is that except for Kasich, none of them were defending the DC approach to destroying the US.

Being objective....Rubio did a real good job. I could see him getting traction as VP.

Agree. Trump was proven right again. Carly has a Hillary thing going on. The more people see of her the more people dislike her. She came across as a nasty shrew. Her demeanor on that stage tells you all you need to know about why she failed miserably at HP and was near universally despised.

I think marijuana was a good topic for obvious reasons. But who the flying rat bleep cares about their opinions on vaccinations? Was CNN attempting to embarrass the whole GOP line up? We ended up with a medical discussion between Trump and Carson. How much time will the new President be spending on vaccination policy? I mean really.

Exactly - he actually was dead-on in his comments about her - he just doesn't have a polished way of putting anything. She's a complete bitch and it came through loud and screeching clear last night. She may have rehearsed and delivered her lines flawlessly but she is what she really came across as a bitch.

I hope he will be coming out in the future with similar papers on the economy, etc. He conferred with Sessions on immigration & supposedly has met with Steve Forbes & someone else. If he can put out quality position papers as he goes along, he’ll do well. For a non-politician who has probably not given much thought to the details, just knows how he feels overall about things (and a good number of Americans agree), I think he’s doing ok. If he can show he’s steady & thoughtful when he hashes out the details, he’ll win over a lot more people.
