You're right. I never put 2+2 together with that chapter, but it is pretty clear from the text.
From the looks of things going on in the middle east with Russian troops in Syria with Chinese ships off the coast in the Meditraian and the possible attack on Iran by Israel there will be some sort of war there in the middle east very soon.
I would say Israel will recapture the Temple Mount during some major war there in the middle not worried of what the world says and regardless of the the Muslims or Arabs do.
Then perhaps there will be some kind of peace accord to stop the fighting just long enough for them to build the 3rd temple.
Don’t know how many years to build the temple but Israel will get control of the temple mount back.
The bible is clear that Israel will be surrounded by the world’s nations.
It is interesting that the US is not directly mention in bible prophocy, perhaps in a greatly deminished role.

The early church and church fathers knew and taught about the Nephelum but it was hidden, rather became a taboo to even mention in later church history up to today.
Once you learn about the Nephelum and who they were most people would get a paridim shift in their biblical view of things in the bible and things that once were a mystery will start to make sense.

I agree. Biblical scholars differ on which war. Some say the Psalm 83 War may occur prior to the War of God and Magog (Ezekiel 38 and 39).
I tend to go with that theory.
If the Psalm 83 War occurs, then all of Israel's immediate neighbors are defeated and lose territory. The world is so outraged that a massive coalition (led by Russia and Iran) invade Israel in the War of Gog and Magog, and God Himself defeats them.

There will be no “third temple” built.
Those looking to see a temple are just not reading all of scripture. Their theories are just plain looney.
The Temple will arrive when Yeshua returns with his bride to rule from the throne of David. Prior to that the mount will be the site of at least two nuclear wars.
The “Holy Place” on which the man of sin stands is the mercy seat of the Ark, not a new temple.

It has to be a third Jewish temple, I’ve watched several things on the television where Rabbi’s have been interviewed talking about their plans to build what they refer to as The Third Temple.

Heck, I’m thinking that Obama might be The One, he fulfills much criteria to be The One.
Can you imagine being a parent or having an elderly parent to take care of during the famine and hell of the Tribulation, and your only choice to feed them would be to take the mark? Horrible.

And it’s typical entitlement mentality that causes us to think that we’re owed a pain free trouble free life. It’s so typical of this country. We’re pretty spoiled in this country and don’t know how to deal with life and 99.99999% of the world has had to for most of its history.
And you know what? I could have said the same thing when my kids were little as well, not so long ago. So, it’s no different now.
And now that they’re older, it doesn’t make it any easier knowing what they are potentially facing as young adults.

Antichrist will stand on the west end of the Mercy Seat, not in a temple. There is no mention of a temple in that prophecy.
