COBB, Calif. (KCRA) —A fast-moving wildfire burning in Lake County exploded to 50,000 acres and has destroyed hundreds of homes, Cal Fire officials said.
Cal Fire spokesman Daniel Berlant said more than 100 homes were destroyed by a wildfire that exploded in size within hours. That number was updated into the hundreds Sunday afternoon.
Berlant said wind gusts that reached up to 30 mph sent embers raining down on homes.

“The pines were exploding. The flames were close to the highway, and they were huge,” Ron Clark said. “It was unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like it. By then it was get out or get burned. If we hadn’t left when we did, this story wouldn’t be told.”
“The rate at which the fire spread, jumping from 400 acres around 1:30 p.m. Saturday to 50,000 acres by Sunday, was astonishing, said Veronica Barclay, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.”
If you live below sea level in a hurricane prone area, yes it’s likely that you are going to be under water. If you have a corrupt,godless, liberal government, chances are the last thing they care about is your well being. I am praying for the people in the line of this fire! I pray too that something good comes of it if California can get water and be able protect itself by clearing out brush, etc,in the future because it’s certain there will also be more fires. If this makes me a horrible person, well guess what, I’m still praying for this fire to be put out and for everyone affected.

The US Forest Department has a new Policy for fighting fires. Changed in 2013.. it’s called Burn Baby Burn.. Do mop up and only fight the fires when they get close to cities!!! Sometimes it gets going too well!!!
