Presidential contender Donald Trump is going after Rolling Stone in the latest of a series of attacks against the media, saying the magazine’s editors added “a lot of garish stuff” to his controversial interview.
Trump said on Thursday that the author of the interview called to apologize for the way it was edited.
“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ — he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.”
Trump conceded the piece had moments of “beauty” and “greatness,” noting that the “photographer was good.”
The GOP primary front-runner has drawn criticism for comments he made about former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina in the Rolling Stone interview.
“Look at that face!” Trump said of Fiorina in the interview. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”
Trump later clarified the remark, saying he was talking about Fiorina’s “persona.”
Fiorina told Fox News’s Megyn Kelly that she’s “not going to spend a single cycle wondering what Donald Trump means.”
Trump has previously been criticized for comments about women that have been perceived as misogynistic.
Mr. Trump , it was your own folly to have ever granted a rag like Rolling Stone any interview .

For most candidates I would agree.
However, Trump is using his celebrity as a reality TV and tabloid guy to draw some low-infos over to our side.
I think Rolling Stone was probably not a bad choice for him.
Trump has made himself accessible to most media outlets. From here on out, he should be wary of granting everyone who asks an interview. He did the View too, and those women just wanted to mock him. He needs to choose more carefully who he talks with. They aren’t all nice and his friends.
The LIEberal is NOT your friend Mr Trump. Totally divest and rescind all forms of lieberalism/leftisms you flirted with in the past. Stay true to conservatism and your conservative friends will back you up 110%.
Just another rag piece on Trump...anything to try and bring him down...isn’t going to work, it will just rise him higher in the polls...

I disagree--- let him handle all sorts of scenarios. He can handle the heat plus it hones his skills even further and can reach even the lesser dimbulbs out there. Let them throw all sorts of crap at him and when he's still the one standing then we have the proven winner.
When you wallow in the sty with pigs you have to expect to get some mud on you.
The best plan is to stay out of the pig sty and don’t pick up rattlesnakes and scorpions to see if they really do bite.
