Thirty Government Officials In North Carolina Are Now All Refusing To Conduct Homosexual Marriages

Thirty North Carolina magistrates in North Carolina are all refusing to conduct homosexual “marriages.” According to the report:

More than 30 magistrates in North Carolina have refused to perform weddings. But thanks to a new state law, they were able to do so legally.

Right after the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage in June, the state passed a law allowing officials to opt out of performing all marriages.

The law exempts court officials with a “sincerely held religious objection” and is designed for those opposing gay marriage.

The law’s original sponsor, Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger, said it’s probably preventing situations like the one in Kentucky.

“It’s keeping folks from having to choose between their job and their religious beliefs. I think that’s important,” he said.

Berger said so far the law hasn’t caused any problems.

“I think the law is working very well,” he said.

Only Utah has a similar law.

Kim Davis has been jailed by the American government for refusing to submit to the homosexual agenda. This only shows that the time is now coming when Christians are going to have to fight. The time is now coming when God is using persecution to sift out the saints from the hirelings. Carla Fiorina, the “conservative” who so many are praising, has proven herself to be a Jezebel, slamming Kim Davis for her righteous decision, saying:

Given the role that she’s playing, given the fact that the government is paying her salary, I think that is not appropriate. Now that’s my personal opinion

SCOTUS federalized marriage. Why do county or state judges or clerks have to be involved at all?

The feds are going to pay for this. Its has nothing to do with Kim Davis herself; its what she represented, their overreaction to it and why they did it. Its a portender of whats to come for every Christian in America if they don’t rise up in massive response. The punishment must be harsh to prevent this overreach in the future.

That’s when wheat and chaff will be separated. We’ll see who’s willing to say NO then.

Having relations with someone not your original spouse (e.g. the second "marital" "partner") while your original spouse is still alive, Jesus called, three different times, adultery (Matthew 19:9; Mark 10:11-122; Luke 16:18)

Thus the second attempted marriage is not--- says Jesus--- a marriage at all.

Fiorina was silent when California refused to enforce Prop 8.

Hypocrit, go back to Cali and loose to Barbara Boxer again

The end objective of the Left is for those 30+ magistrates to be gone. I would do it and make it as unpleasant of an experience for the Sodomites as possible

Where does the bible say that?

Matt 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matt 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

In both cases, the English word "fornication" is, in the Greek, πορνεία (porneia): referring to any kind of sexual immorality.

If you read both verses very carefully, you will note that this allows divorce as the result of sexual immorality of the spouse (either before the marriage or during). You will note that those who have been "put away" are from that point forward prohibited from again being married.

So looking at it strictly based upon these two verses, the only way that divorce/remarriage would be permissible is in the case of an innocent spouse who was a virgin at the point of marriage (or a widow / widower) and where the guilty spouse had committed some sort of sexual immorality before or during the marriage. In any other case, it's prohibited.

Then add in the direction of St Paul in 1 Cor 7:10-11:

10 And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to [her] husband: and let not the husband put away [his] wife.

Note that St Paul directs those who are married and separate should stay single...i.e., not to remarry.

Also note no exceptions to the rule here.

Having said that, there is one exception. If you undergo a conversion and your spouse does not, then, if the unbelieving spouse decides to divorce (leave), then the believing spouse is free to remarry. But that's the only other exception. See 1 Cor 7:12-15:

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. 13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace.

We should push for a constitutional amendment defining marriage even if it might be tough to pass. We’ll still get the benefit of keeping the other side fighting. Otherwise they will simply use their energy to push another issue far to the left. Best to keep them stuck on this one instead of moving on to the next act of constitutional arson.

“Given the role that she’s playing, given the fact that the government is paying her salary, I think that is not appropriate. Now that’s my personal opinion”

Correction Carly. The American taxpayer is paying her salary.

BTW: Carly never was a conservative. Some people mentioned that but she said some mean stuff about Hillary and some people got really excited.

She also has no voting record to compare her statements to so people are going to just have to go with her statements to figure out what she really believes.

Thanks for posting this story. I didn’t hear about this and it motivated me to email my governor, Scott Walker and my state reps asking if WI was doing anything along these lines and if not, why not. Will follow up with phone calls next week. Thanks again.

Issuing a marriage license to a couple of guys because they stick their penises into each other’s butt holes is NOT doing the two guys, or society any favors. In fact, by condoning such vile demonic behavior, such a clerk would be playing an active part in the demise of our nation. I have the highest regards for those clerks who are taking a stand against such, and actively pray for their well being and that God’s blessings be upon them.

You mean people like Kim Davis?

Perfect replay. Exactly right.

God bles ‘em.

The nation should stand up as a whole and tell the SCOTUS, expletives deleted.
