It’s rarely used, but our sheriff was removed from office for embezzlement, the sheriff of Nassau county and a couple of deputies were removed from office back in the 80’s for drug selling, a Pensacola city councilman was removed from office for fraud, IIRC, and so on. They really have to screw up for the governor to step in.................

Then you are in the wrong forum. Perhaps you missed Jim Robinson's very forceful affirmation today that Free Republic is "all in" regarding defense of marriage and other social issues. There are NO "more pressing problems" than the attack upon the family. Of course we all care about immigration, national defense, etc. but marriage and the family are the bedrock of society, and if that goes - so goes the country (down the drain).
