A couple involved in the lawsuit against the embattled Kentucky clerk who was jailed after refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples said they are looking forward to getting married on Friday and hope they face no problems this time around.
Karen Roberts and April Miller were denied a marriage license on Tuesday by Rowan County, Kentucky, clerk Kim Davis, who has said she is refusing to issue the licenses based on her religious beliefs as an Apostolic Christian.
But Davis' actions were in direct defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court, after justices rejected an appeal by the clerk on Monday. Her appeal was the first legal skirmish to reach the Supreme Court since it declared on June

If this is allowed to happen, the judge has gone from making up law to hold a person in jail for their Christian beliefs, to breaking the law with the promotion of Forgery, and the nullification of an election.
The deputy clerks were not elected. Ms. Davis was and they can not legally issue any document with her name on it, without her ok.
If her name is not on it, it’s not valid.
If this happens, kiss any future election result good-bye, as any Federal Judge will now be able to replace any elected official with one of his choosing.
Think Trump will be President? HAHAHAHA, only until Jeb finds a Federal Judge to overturn it and place him in the WH.

For the upteenth time in my adult life I am ashamed of my country.
Over the last 4 to 5 decades, how many government officials failed to enforce sodomy laws, yet managed to stay out of jail.
Here is a tip - stay away from the mirror. I cannot imagine your reflection can be anything but humiliating; leaving you feeling marginalized. And for goodness sake you could have gone to the next county and felt empowered rather than wait and keep feeling so humiliated. But what the heck, love wins means you got a christian lady jailed. I can feel the love here in Colorado, you must be proud of yourselves.
These demands for a wedding license are nothing more than an attempt to force a Christian to violate that person’s beliefs by sanctioning their perversion with a wedding license. These “couples” only want to harass and persecute a Christian. If they really wanted that license, they could have found another clerk somewhere else to issue that marriage license.
Wonder how much these “couples “ are being paid for their efforts and by whom.
