Sadly enough, she is much talked about as a VP pick, because she is (a) a woman and (b) a minority. I wish we could get past these kind of calculations and just pick the best person for the job. I know this may sound radical, but I'd even go so far as to vote for a white man, if he were a constitutional conservative.
The Constitution has somewhat to say about the criteria for selection of VP:
The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate
That is, you do not select the VP solely because he is the second-best man to be POTUS, but first because his selection will help unify the country. Which cannot be consistent with selecting an incompetent, you would think - but then, there’s Joe Biden . . .

She’s not a Hindu. She’s officially Christian.

“Every time someone criticizes him, he goes and makes a political attack back,” Haley said when asked about Trump during an appearance at the National Press Club. “That’s not who we are as Republicans. That’s not what we do.”

And that's why your party is viewed as emasculated milquetoast, Nikki.

Like Haley, but I found her soft on Immigration and social issues so no longer think she is good enough for the national stage. Most of the women on our bench flamed out. I stand with Bachmann being the best one in recent years.

I have issues with the Tea Party at times. Too many groups under the banner who have different ideas. And so some candidates I don’t agree with at times. Others are attacked by tea party groups themselves despite being conservative like Matt Bevin, Christine O`Donnell, Todd Akin, and so on.

Well, that’s the point though. The Tea Party ( and I guess you have to include every group that runs under that banner) didn’t do an adequate job of vetting several of those folks you mentioned. O’Donnell and Akin were disasters, along with Sharron Angle. I’m not about electing GOPe people, but neither am I willing to support “fringe right” candidates who have absolutely no chance simply by reason of their “nutty” views. My wife is from Nevada, and I can tell you that Angle had a terrible reputation as a legislator just being an obstructionist. Good solid conservative Republicans would not support her. Ditto for Akin, who may have been able to get elected to office in a house district full of BAC’s but when he ran for the Senate he didn’t have the support of most Republicans and was not helped by his goofy remarks. There is just no way someone like Ronald Reagan would have been a supporter of a lot of these people.
