I know what’s in the books but I know how it is in the real world having a LEO background. The Feds will roll right over that Sheriff. He who has the most toys wins. They got a whole lot more toys with taxpayer funds because of the dictator in charge

We can’t do anything. Our hands are tied. Need a Republican president. Oh BTW, have you donated to my campaign yet? Isn’t that Trump character a nasty fellow?

Some have proposed the idea of recognizing households, which would be far fairer in many ways. There would not even need to be sexual relations going on or implied for that.

Indeed. This has become a country I can no longer pledge any allegiance to.

So you want a Kentucky sheriff to go to war with the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Kentucky?

Some times that's what it takes, freedom is not free, it must be taken.

Sometimes that means war.

This is a State issue at best and should be handled by the people of Kentucky, the Feds should be told to f off.

Newbie! There IS NO LAW TO ENFORCE! Supreme court interprets law only. Marriage is a state level law and Kentucky does not have a law stating same sex couples can marry, in fact their law says marriage is one man, one woman only! The idiotic Supreme Court decision doesn’t change that.

Why should she resign when she is in fact being asked to BREAK THE LAW of Kentucky?

You have seen all the replies so far.

Pretty much on her side.

Know why?

Because she’s standing up to real hate and illegitimate State power.

I don’t care if the Leftists might do it. They already do, all the time. How do you think we got here?

The Attorney General of California and the Governor BOTH refused to apply the AMENDMENT TO THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION prohibiting homosexual marriage.

They BOTH went against their sworn duty. No Federal Marshals showed up to arrest them.

Now what do you say?

It’s all bunk. They ignore, refuse, intimidate, bully, malfease, take bribes, pay bribes, do whatever they want...until they get their way.

And the law is on their side.

THEN it becomes a LAW YOU MUST NEVER BREAK.

Like abortion. Like taxpayer funds for illegals.

Alinsky said it: force the Right to play by the rules, bog them down, but never ever ever play by the rules yourself.

Rules are for Rubes.

Like you.

Me too. This is really unexpected.

I expected it. I also expect her to cave relatively quickly. If she lasts even a few days, i'll be surprised.

I also sort of expected for the Kentucky legislature to quickly convene and pass a law as did Oklahoma, to stop the issuance of any State Marriage document.

More or less, to refuse to sanction any marriages because the courts deem normal people must be harmed because the 1.8% that are sick perverted faggots and the even smaller 2% of those faggots, want to feel good about themselves.

The punishment for Religious Freedom is that you will no longer be employable by the State. Next, buying groceries.

Will we have to get a mark on our hand or head to buy groceries now ?

Sometimes it takes a copious amount of Kabuki to get people’s notice. Just sayin’. I’m not telling anyone what to do. She always had and has the option of quitting. More, and it is between her and God, and perhaps between the whole country and God.

Hate to admit it but you are right and the mark of the beast doesn't look too far off.

She was elected. Her “bosses” were the voters."

Since when has that mattered to the Feds? This whole thing started because the courts nullified the voters, saying it doesn't matter.
