Is it just me, or do we have planted Dems that are posing as Freepers and trying to drive a wedge between conservatives and Fox News, using their much needed Donald Trump as the tool. I’m not sure what else can explain the unbridled enthusiasm to trash Fox News.

Baier was particularly patronizing and strangely passive aggressive in this very very early Trump interview from April 2015.

Baier used his interview to source his Trump questions for the debate:

The “best” part about Fox’s debate planning was having Debbie Wasserman Schitz live on scene. As soon as the debate ended Kelly MeGYN immediately goes to her for her “Republicans are misogynists waging war on women” diatribe. What a set up.

“We don’t want to have to escort you to the elevator outside this boardroom.”

I’d be willing to bet Trump had security of his own who wouldn’t be too thrilled about him being manhandled by stagehands.

I sure don’t get it

I thought Trump was clumsy in the dustup with Megyn Kelly after the debates (although I guess it worked) and I thought Kelly had a lot of class in how she handled it

Oh I wish Bret had done that.

That would’ve been good for an additional 15-20 polling points for Trump.

I’m not sure Fox is serving the GOPe.

******************
Fox News has long standing relationships with politicians and consultants who are associated with the GOP. They routinely call upon them for color commentary and to act as talking heads on political issues. How many millions of times have John McCain and Lindsey Graham been on Fox? And Karl Rove. The list of GOP people who travel in the corridors of power in Washington DC would be a mile long. There is lots of evidence that associates Fox News with GOP personalities. Yes, there are also people who appear on the Democrat side, but nowhere near the numbers and frequency of its GOP guests. Consider the influence that such relationships imply. Trump is an inconvenient candidate that threatens to upset the comfortable status quo political positions enjoyed by many of Fox’s stable of GOP guests. In other words, the enemy of my friends is also my enemy.

Well, we sure do have GOPe plants on FR. Going back to the Dan Rather fake document that Karl Rove himself wrote to get our minds off Bush’s AWOL status before the 04 election.

I thought Kelly was totally unprofessional. Her job was to moderate and pose questions to help viewers gain an understanding of the candidates’ positions on critical issues facing the country. Instead she took the low road. She failed the country, her network, and herself.

I couldn’t agree less. Too many talking heads on Fox News are liberals.

They were all jacked up for Trump to do something crazy. When he didn’t, it completely threw them off their game, which is shameful of supposed “professionals”. Piss on em. I won’t watch the next Fox hosted debate, period.
