Officer dies, manhunt for 3 armed suspects in Fox Lake Posted 9:16 AM, September 1, 2015, by WGN Web Desk, Updated at 12:08pm, September 1, 2015
FOX LAKE, Ill. -- A manhunt is underway for three armed suspects after a Fox Lake police officer was fatally shot in the head Tuesday morning, sources tell WGN.
At a brief news conference Tuesday, authorities said they were searching for two white men and one black man. A large perimeter has been set up and multiple helicopters and K9s units are searching the area. Police will not confirm the officer has died, only saying that his condition is unknown.
Sources say that the officer's gun and pepper spray was taken.
Rollins Road between Washington Avenue and Route 59 is closed and all area schools are on lockdown.
Service on the Milwaukee District North Line is also shut down in both directions.
This is a developing story. Check back for details.

Pray America is waking
So now it’s all the fault of the police?
But no. Obama IMMEDIATELY took the side of the black...
...
And he’s been doing that over and over again, since then. I’m starting to detect a pattern.
When is the illegal alien community agitator in chief going to be arrested and tried for accessory to murder, in at least four or five different states? This is exactly what he wanted, and this is what he caused.

And that, by far, angers me more than anything else he has done. Obama really could have been the next Lincoln, as far as race relations in this country go. Instead he chose to be a more sophisticated version of Al Sharpton.
The folks who early on saw the Rev. Wright connection as significant...well, those folks were correct.
Yeah, the whole area is shut down.
Just a slightly larger response that if a civilian were shot. </sarcasm>
Prayers for the police officer and all who loved him.

Life's going to get a lot more dangerous for all of us.
Years ago we'd see a report and the media article. That was it. Until technology dramatically changed. Now a video camera in every hand with millions viewing almost as it happens. It's changed the American landscape, like it or not.
The War on Police officially stated the day Obama and Holder sent 75 cops to Ferguson to attempt to lynch an innocent cop named Wilson.
Yes, all of the money donated to his family should be returned and if agreed upon by those donating should be redirected to many worthy groups that support families of military, police, fire personnel and emergency services that were killed in the line of duty.
