A South Florida bus driver is upset after he was suspended from work for several days months after he was viciously attacked by a passenger. According to the victim, his employers told him he should have handled the altercation differently.
Sixty-six-year-old Ken Legler was on his routine drive July 15 when a woman stepped onto the bus. Legler said she handed over her bus pass, but he noticed it had been tampered with and then called his dispatcher to inform them regarding the pass. "I've been a bus driver 28 years. This is the way I was trained to do my job," he said.
As Legler reached out to the dispatcher, the passenger began demanding for her pass to be returned and repeatedly beat Legler over the head once he refused to hand back over the pass.

Sounds like the transit authority needs a little TLC from passengers and groups who are offended by reverse discrimination. An age discrimination complaint by the driver should also run up their costs for their unwarranted action.

If I were the bus driver, I would retire. Age 66 with 28 years working for the transit agency. He should have a decent pension and social security coming by now. Shouldn’t have to put up with this crap, especially at his age.

Bus routes are assigned by the company, not the drivers. At the rate of pay this particular driver was making, a black would gladly take his position IF, you could find one that would work. It is more profitable for the street rat types to stay at home and collect the “free sh$t” (which is quickly turned into money by the way) from the gubmint than actually work for a living.
