Heard an interview with Dick & Lynn Cheney last night on their new book. Both said that National Security should be the #1 issue this election - America is in such trouble ... Iran/nukes for one thing, etc. Obama has been bold & lawless - a milquetoast of the Jeb/Rubio variety is NOT going to be big & bold enough to turn the ship off the Leftist course it’s on by undoing most of what Obama has wrought.
The problem is that national security is well down the list for the political right. “Winning no matter what” has topped the list for several elections now. Which is why we have no national security having elected liberal republicans to ‘oppose’ liberal Democrats.
That is why people are flocking to Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz, going to sites such as this for example, listening to conservative talk radio.

I always have a difficult time understanding why the self-identifying Democrat, Trump, does well in Republican polling, especially when self-identified conservatives like Ted Cruz hold the same positions about being a nation of laws.

That is why if Trump gets the GOP frontrunner status, best to have a Trump/Cruz ticket.
