Ora.TV host Jesse Ventura ripped Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) for signing an extreme anti-abortion bill into law last year, sarcastically saying it did not go far enough.
If he believes that if a doctor performs this its murder, then charge the doctor with murder. And its premeditated so it would be first-degree murder, wouldnt it? he said. These guys, if they truly want to stand up for it, then they gotta go all the way with it.
The bill bans the procedure after the 20-week mark of any pregnancy, and does not contain exceptions for rape and incest victims.
The thing that bugs me about Scott Walker and all Republicans of this ilk is that they seem to care more about the unborn than the people that are already here, Ventura said, adding, Gee, Scott, what do you think their chances for success will be? Slim and none and slim just probably left the building with you.
Ventura also noted Walkers opposition to a bill that would end wage discrimination in his state, blaming it on the governors evangelical background depicting women as subservient. According to their faith, Ventura said, women come from [Adams] rib, so why would they be thought of as equal in the workplace?
They bring many archaic thoughts that discriminate against not only women, but people of color. Theres a great deal of discrimination in religion, he added. Religious people all have it. They wont admit it, but they do have it, because the scriptures themselves do it.
Watch Venturas commentary, as posted online, below.
Being attacked by Jesse Ventura should give him a bump in the polls.
The hysterical mob would agree, if Jesse Ventura 2.0 said it.
I’m a woman. Ventura is a man (I think — can we know?). He doesn’t speak for me. Keep on talking, Walker.
poor man. seems very smart in his worldly way.
prov 14:12: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
I really wish another Chris Kyle would come along and punch this ass’s face out.
Jesse taking a break from his war on widows
and their children to offer electoral pearls
of wisdom.
Pound sand, asshat.
Jesse Ventura says lots of things that are based on ignorance.
This year, there have been a lot of folks just like him spilling their guts.
Many of them were consciously lying.
It’s a circus act.
I think it comes closer to third cousins to Lee Harvey than a circus act.
This isn’t just idle entertainment. This is down right evil.
I don’t support Walker, but Ventura is an ill informed propagandist here.
In what way is Walker supporting women as being subservient.
Because he won’t sign on to genocide? No sale!
They’ll do what it takes to win.
For them, integrity is for fools.
Strange thing is, Ventura has no dog in this fight. He’s just being an airhead for the sake of being an airhead.
If he believes that if a doctor performs this its murder, then charge the doctor with murder. And its premeditated so it would be first-degree murder, wouldnt it? he said. These guys, if they truly want to stand up for it, then they gotta go all the way with it.I dunno, it's hard to ague with that logic.
Jesse Ventura attacks Scott WAlker. (If Scott were a prideful man, this would be a point of pride, to be sure.)
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Jesse used to come on the Mike Trivisano Show here on Cleveland AM radiio as “Mr. Blue.” He’s brain damaged!
Jesse Ventura has a cheap mind. He’s a college sophomore.
I was shocked to hear how shallow his mind really is not long ago, during an interview by Alex Jones.
Ventura’s position on the Planned Parenthood videos: “I don’t know anything about that.” That’s his position on Partial-Birth Abortion, too.
His position on abortion in general is the typical sophomore libertarian position: It’s a woman body.
A totally unserious person.
On this point, Ventura is exposing the hypocrisy of the pro-life movement.
Every GOVERNOR in the U.S. has the obligation to ignore the Supreme Court’s abortion decisions—which would mean indicting every abortionist for first-degree murder. The pro-life movement has never even THOUGHT about demanding this from the governors.
