Shock Poll: 59% Back Trump On Deportation of Illegals

Immigration: When Donald Trump proposed mandatory deportation of illegal aliens, pundits and politicians on both sides of the political aisle were appalled. But on this issue it looks like Trump has the public on his side.

The fire from the right was almost as fierce as that from the left. "It's not conservative and it's not realistic and it does not embrace American values," said Jeb Bush.

Sen. Lindsey Graham called it "absolute gibberish."

Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer called the idea "crackpot" and "morally obscene."

But the prize for overheated rhetoric goes to Hillary Clinton, who said Trump wants to "literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up, put them, I don't know, in buses, boxcars, in order to take them across our border."

So what do these folks say about the fact that the majority of Americans back Trump on this?

The latest IBD/TIPP Poll asked 913 adults coast to coast if they "support or oppose mandatory deportation of illegal immigrants in the U.S." Not surprisingly, 87% of Trump supporters back the proposal.

What's surprising is that 59% of the overall public does as well. Mandatory deportation gets majority support in all age groups except 18-24, every income group, among both women and men, at every level of educational achievement, and in rural, urban and suburban regions.

More interesting still is the fact that 64% of independents and 55% of moderates support deportation.

Even among Hispanics, the poll found 40% backed mandatory deportation

It is only surprising to RINOs and pundits. DemocRats and conservatives KNOW that the US is fed up with illegal immigration.

98% of residents of Flyover Country believe the Sun comes up in the East....EVERY DAY!

75% believe that the sky will be blue sometime within the next two weeks... perhaps even several times!

All the people saying we can’t deport illegal aliens are saying we must give up the rule of law and our country.

Go Trump

The problem is the ones who are in office will wim-- gerrymandering and special interests have given many of them safe seats for life.

They're happy as long as they can join the Dems in looting the republic-- look at McConnell.

"It's not conservative and it's not realistic and it does not embrace American values," said Jeb Bush.

Wow, wrong three times in one sentence. Almost as good as a liberal, but Jeb, they can easily go four or five lies in one sentence with barely the need of a comma...

“I have been asked how a child born here can possibly be an illegal alien...”

I had lunch last week with a couple of die-hard liberal Democrats. A total Hillary supporter recalled how, while in law school, she had come to the conclusion that such children are in essence the “fruit of the poisonous tree” - that just like evidence that is tainted because it was obtained illegally and thus cannot be used. The parents are here illegally, thus children born here cannot be legal.

She is totally in agreement with Trump on this issue. Don’t know if it’s enough to get her to vote with him, but very interesting the bipartisan consensus building that it is non-sensical to award citizenship to someone born here while their parents had no right to be here.

...“Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease.

I stopped going to movie theaters over two years ago. Bedbugs and head lice and no fun.
I should add that my grandkids, in the San Jose CA area have had waves and waves of head lice infestation the last few years.

But it's "who we are." "It's the right thing to do."

Citizens be damned.

Just make it financially untenable for any business large or small to employ a single illegal alien. Businesses will stop hiring illegals. Simple supply and demand. The supply will dry up with no demand. My initial suggestion is a fine of $250k/per illegal found to be employed directly or indirectly by any buwiness. This is per illegal, per day, with no cap on the maximum amount a business can be fined. Sub-contractors employed by businesses are also scrutinized and fined the same as the businesses utilizing their services. Proceeds to be disbursed to the states in which fines are collected to reimburse taxpayers for the social services wasted on illegals and their equally illegal bratlings.

It is a suggestion. Take it for what it is worth.

Why is that even surprising, never mind a “shock”?

If the majority of citizens hold a certain opinion, how exactly can it be a shock, other than to moronic reporters who reflexively believe that their own opinions represent that of all Americans?

What this ultimately means is that Trump will pull many votes from that group that we haven’t been pulling in recent general elections.

Thanks for the menntion.

They would rather do the bidding of their corporate paymasters. As long as they keep getting reelected, they win. The nation loses. Both parties have abandoned the American worker.
