It was never about gay marriage to me, just a backdoor dismantling of the First Amendment’s religious freedom and free speech provisions regarding those who oppose gay marriage.

The county clerks in KY are elected officials.

It might be interesting if the clerk has the same response that Pres Andrew Jackson did in Worcester v. Georgia: "Justice Marshall has made his decision. Now let him enforce it".

He might get jailed for contempt, but he might choose to be jailed.

The SCOTUS has been officially turned. It is a dead letter.

Not surprising. The Supreme Court, like the rest of Washington, is ruled by degenerate filth, determined to make America a pervert nation.

I pray I’ll live long enough to see DC nuked off the face of the earth one day.

Probably, homosexuals are hoping to dismantle religion. Everybody else says what they’re doing is fine.

Kagan referred it to the full court, which declined to take it. Four are needed to take it.

How encouraging.

The Supreme Court? Another relic from the past which has no function in the present-day government. Much like the old Congress.

I’m amazed they couldn’t get four.

Natural rights, like those of the First Amendment, don't require the assistance of others.

Societal rights require the assistance of others, like trial by jury.

With the help of lower courts, Scotus thinks it created both a natural AND a societal right.

This is tyranny, and tyrants deserve no obedience.

Kagan, Ginsburg, Sotomayor, Breyer, Kennedy, and Roberts need to be removed by Congress. Their lawlessness is an offense to the Constitution, the States, and The People.
