As for specifics regarding sources for purchasing guns, some of the inmates indicated that gangs have individuals with a Firearm Owners Identification Card who buy guns then sell them to gang members. Others indicated using “corrupt cops” who seize guns then “put them back on the street.”
The inmates made clear they do not walk into gun stores to buy guns. Which proves a point Breitbart News, Gun Owners of America, and other gun rights groups have made for years; namely, that background checks place a burden on law-abiding citizens which criminals easily avoid.

That’s how the bloomin’ antis sold it to the IPOS/LPOS/SPOS/UPOS voters in NV when they petitioned for the ballot initiative for the 2016 ballot. Oh, and it will stop all future domestic violence too. And more than twice as many signature were obtained as needed. So, where does that tell you that vote is going next year? If approved by the voters, the intergalactic background check will be law on 1/1/2017. If we go by the recent northwest push, bloomie alone will kick in over $800K while the opposition will kick in less than $100K. Sad dang situation.
There ought to be a ban on bereaved family members appearing on TV after yet another hideous murder, covered by the maudlin media 24/7. These mourners always blame lax gun laws, no matter that most of the weapons used were bought legally because there was no criminal record at the time of sale.

Gun control was NEVER about reducing crime. It has always been about disarming the law abiding populace so that when the socialists go to their extreme positions there will not be any way for people who have been pushed beyond their tolerance for being robbed and controlled to resist. People like 0baba and his accomplices in the media and government look at governments like Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union and don't see the evils we do. They see their wonderful wet dream of total control over the masses. They see that if they pass enough restrictive unconstitutional laws they can force us to follow their silly dreams - green energy, no guns, no cars, "healthy" food only, no houses in suburbia, public transit only, etc.
