Top Jeb fundraisers leave campaign amid troubling signs
politico.com ^ | 8/29/15 | Alex Isenstadt and Marc Caputo

Three top Jeb Bush fundraisers abruptly parted ways with his presidential campaign on Friday, amid internal personality conflicts and questions about the strength of his candidacy, POLITICO has learned.

There are different versions of what transpired. The Florida-based fundraising consultants — Kris Money, Trey McCarley, and Debbie Alexander — have said that they voluntarily quit the campaign and were still working with Bush's super PAC, Right to Rise Super PAC. Others said the three, who worked under the same contract, were let go because they were no longer needed for the current phase of the campaign.

None of the three immediately responded to requests for comment. Bush spokesman Tim Miller would only say that “Governor Bush has the widest and deepest fundraising operation of any candidate in the field. Ann Herberger — a longtime aide with more than two decades of experience in state and national politics — will continue to lead the operation in Florida with our team in Miami.”

One source attributed the departures to personality conflicts in the campaign, some involving Bush's finance team.

Kasich is weak. The guy I think is in line as Bush’s replacement is even more competent and wants the job more... Mitt Romney. It is way too early for Jebs campaign to collapse. Mitt will be a tough out.

For the first time in a long time I voted democrat, I voted for the candidate mostly to beat George P here in Texas. I will do that every time I see the name Bush on a ballot.

I will NEVER forget Kasich saying how much he likes Hillary over and over....the day after his announcement to run for Pres. More of the same milquetoast and no thank you. Forget what he says and what he has done. That alone tells me how he will compete and deal with the media.

“Marco Rubio will emerge to take over Jeb’s role”.

Here’s a few of little Marco’s RINO credentials...

1. I would go to a sodomite “wedding”.
2. I refuse to use the word anchor baby.
3. A wall will not do much good.
4. I teamed up with my buddies Juan McRINO and Linda Graham to peddle amnesty. Didn’t work out but I will never quit trying.

Translation: They were let go because they couldn't keep ignoring the sorry truth about Jeb and refused to keep up the sham.

I pray not but things can change on a dime, we’ll have to wait and see. Trump could say something so incredibly outrageous it destroys him for good, and those two idiots could be propped up yet again with Hitlery waltzing away scot free from yet another criminal act. There is a LOT of stupid people out there who do whatever the media tells them to do and it would not surprise me in the least if we find these two morons as the candidates. If that happens, this country is finished, absolutely. It cannot survive either one in the WH.

" I teamed up with my buddies Juan McRINO and Linda Graham to peddle amnesty."

Don't forget the only returning Amnesty star...

Schumer: Don't forget kid, I brought about the 1986 Amnesty. And didn't that fix immigration and the border?
Rubio: Yes, sir... I won't forget.

Number of financial backers who leave campaigns that are going well: 0
Number of financial backers who leave campaigns with problems: all of them

This is a good sign!

Trump's only got 2 days to fizzle out by the end of August.

Otherwise, will have to project to end of September?

Schumer was also up to his elbows in the prior Amnesty sellout and travesty. Schumer from before passage of the 1986 Amnesty:
"We are here to solve problems before they become crises. Sure enough, if we do nothing, our immigration problem will become an immigration crisis." - Schumer, NY Times, 10/15/86
Schumer upon passage of the 1986 Amnesty:

"Representative Charles E. Schumer, right, pouring champagne to celebrate passage of
the immigration bill with, from left...Panneta...Mazzoli...Fish...and...Rodino." - NY Times, 10/16/86

Florida will surely tell the story for Jeb, or Marco. I have heard in some polls that Marco plays better against Hillary, but have not seen any recent polling match up in Florida, between Jeb and Marco. Jeb needs to lose Florida, straight up.

Everything seems to hinge on Trump holding up through Florida, or else the GOP will spring back to life again.
