Jeb Bush makes campaign stop in Hampton Roads (Crowd of about 200...)

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush brought his presidential campaign to Hampton Roads on Friday, spending about an hour telling a crowd of mostly veterans of his plans to boost military spending, repair the Veterans Administration and explaining why he’s a better choice than GOP front runner Donald Trump.

Surrounded by about 200 people in a rented room at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4809 in Norfolk, the candidate vowed to end automatic cuts in defense spending.

He was joined at the VFW event by former U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, a Richmond Republican, who announced his support for Bush this week.

“When I look at the 17 people who are running, there’s no question that Jeb Bush has the most demonstrated conservative record,” said Cantor, who has largely been out of the political spotlight after his surprise 2014 defeat by U.S. Rep. David Brat.

Cantor brings HUGE-money donors to Jeb, but no voters.
The RINOs have learned one only thing from the Tea Party revolt: “We need more donors!”.

Surrounded by about 200 people in a rented room...

Why would a single person - not alone 200 - take time out of their day to go see Jeb Bush? Was there a free buffet? Door prizes? Maybe Jeb hired one of those clowns who twist balloons into animals. That always draws a crowd.

WOW!

Jebster is drawing crowd numbers reminiscent of the size of crowds John McCain was drawing in 2008.

==

The problem is Jebster-as-nominee could also accumulate around the same number of Electoral votes McCain got in 2008.

Why is Cantor trying to sell Jeb as a conservative, when both have disparaged conservatives?

Because both know they have to run to the right to get elected.

They will pander to the conservatives before the election and spit on conservatives if they get elected.

WTF is the matter with Bush? Doesn't he realize that with Cantor, he is trotting out the guy who these very VA voters probably opposed and voted against?

El Stupido.

We Cantorized him because he was a lying weasel about to betray us last summer on amnesty.

I am still very proud of my fellow 7th VA voters for booting the weasel Eric Can’tor/won’t and electing Dave Brat.

More districts need to Cantorize their weasels, I’m looking at you OH-8

WTF is the matter with Bush?

There's nothing wrong with him. He's simply a bought-and-paid for corruptocrat for the internationalists to continue their plunder and destruction of America. But he has to put on this dog-and-pony show to pretend that there are actually free and fair elections in the U.S. Trust me, Bush and most of the GOP elites hate being around ordinary Americans.

“There’s nothing wrong with him. He’s simply a bought-and-paid for corruptocrat for the internationalists to continue their plunder and destruction of America”

That describes all politicians except Trump who is not bought and paid for

“Was there a free buffet? “

I think you hit the reason why folks showed up. The GOPe does lay out a pretty good food spread.
