Interesting, If you seen footage of the pouring in the old films they made every block in thr dam is a different puzzle size and that is the method of locking together they used. You may have seen this documentary. My grandfather worked on it so, it is especially interesting to me.

The proposed Nicaragua canal would require locks as well. Lake Nicaragua is 107 feet above sea level.
