Love this guy! I’d take his course just because he’s teaching it.
When is Registration Day ???
:)
“Feel free to use this material if you already have tenure.”
LOL
BRAVO!!!
Absolutely! I always enjoy reading his columns on Townhall, often times returning to previous missives. He would be my choice for DOJ.
The argument would be a bit more convincing if the author were not confusing atheists with Marxists.
More generally, a move civil defense of his position might be less emotionally satisifing, but more effective.

Don’t know about the author, when often I encounter such individuals in a position of authority - and especially in academia - they are prone to abuse it when someone states a contrary position.
Wilmington...this isn’t the guy they tried to fire because he converted to Christianity?
This works for me!
I don’t think the author did confuse atheists and Marxists. What was uncivil about this speech?
I thought he was moving to Pepperdine. Bummer.
Bookmarked
His Dad was a Dean of the college I went to. He is a very nice man. Worked VERY hard to get me in the right place to get my undergrad degree.
This, is how a man handles things.
I hope he does not abuse his power in a way that would offend constitutional civics.
I hope he allows leftist students to express their opinion and then he respectfully tells the truth as he sees it from a legal/constitutional point of view if there is a conflict.
Leftist professors and students have tried many times over the years, to get him fired for being a “conservative.” This is his way of letting them know that he’s not bending over to them so they can drop the class early and not get penalized. To me, one who knows and understands the original intent of the constitution is a “classical liberal.” That is a liberal before liberals went marxist.

If you find his comments coarse and offensive, you might be one of the people he’s talking to.
No he sued them about promotion,(Dr. Adams’ third book, Letters to a Young Progressive, was published in April of 2013. In 2014, Adams v. UNCW finally went to trial to determine whether the university violated the First Amendment in 2006 by denying his promotion to full professor in retaliation for his speeches and columns on TownHall.com. He was represented at trial by David French of the ACLJ and Travis Barham of ADF. On March 20th, the federal jury ruled in Adams favor. On April 8th, the court ordered UNCW to promote Adams and give him seven years back pay. He spent most of the money on guns made by Browning, guitars made by Fender, and amps made by Mesa Boogie.)
You can be written up and even terminated for saying something to which some thin skinned bully chooses to take offense, even when no offense was intended. Unless your know your co-worker well, your conversations are best limited to stuff which is work related, the weather and sports.
And I'm not so sure that even the weather and sports are safe topics.
