Grey Hair, Silver Lining: Hillary Clinton Polls Well With Elderly Voters
Washington Beacon ^ | August 27, 20015 | Andrew Stiles

The most recent Quinnipiac poll is awful news for Hillary Clinton. Most voters don’t view her in a favorable light, and the first words that come to mind when they think of her are “liar,” “dishonest,” and “untrustworthy,” while “bitch” and “murder” are slightly lower down the list. She’s getting outperformed by Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden in head-to-head match-ups with the leading Republican candidates. Democratic voters seem to be holding out for Joe, because they love him.

If there’s a silver lining in the poll, it’s the fact that Hillary Clinton would still win a three-way race against Jeb Bush and Donald Trump, even though she’d get just 40 percent of the total vote, and just 29 percent of Independent voters. Refreshingly, the poll shows Hillary Clinton doing very well in her own age group, the grandmother demographic. She’s winning 37 percent of voters aged 65 and up, compared to 28 percent for Bush, and 23 percent for Trump.

I don't mean to be mean spirited about it but the elderly have always been the most gullible, easiest to fall for dubious scenarios. Whether it's being the target of investment scammers or other aspects where having to trust someone is fundamental to the circumstances, the elderly are the first in line to be targeted. Whether it's their diminished capacity or needing someone to believe in, I'm not surprised they would go for an avowed liar, psychopath like Hillary, to whom faking concern, wringing out the emotional currency she needs to get their support, to have her going after them with a vengeance.

Refreshingly (?), the poll shows Hillary Clinton doing very well in her own age group, the grandmother demographic.

It's not the grandmother demographic in which she has the greatest sense of camaraderie with, it's those who share her proclivity for felonious malfeasance, lack of moral sensibility, an arrest record, time in a federal penitentiary, home accessories, furnishings, not bolted down to the White House floor, walls.

They’re the demographic that still watches regular television and the nightly news. That can be overcome in the general election once the candidate is chosen and the voters hear from the candidate himself rather than the media’s biased interpretation.

Whether it’s Biden, Hillary, or Sanders, I don’t think Trump will even break a sweat beating any of them.

The elderly cotton to people like genial Joe, he gives them hugs, pats on the head and he is also their age, their history is the same. Joe’s 33 years in office is proof of just how genial he is.....however, that does not make him presidential material not does his “reason” for running have anything to do with why he should run....think about it for a second....he is running, so we’re told, because his dying son asked him to. What on earth does that have to do with the governing of a nation?

I tried to change my mother's mind for years. She was stuck in the FDR rut...and then oboy....a Catholic...

In the meantime, my dad sat me down and told me about the old bootlegger...

My 90 yo mother-in-law loves Hillary; tell her about what Hillary has done and she becomes agitated, then forgets it 10 minutes later.

any senior citizen that supports Hillary Clinton is demonstrating an early onset of dementia , along with a voluntary suspension of disbelief .

Hillary belongs in jail , not on the campaign trail .

Because elderly voters are locked in the habit of getting their views from the MSM.

So the silver lining is you put two Republican candidates up against her to split the vote and she wins? LOL.
