John Boehner Calls Ted Cruz A ‘Jackass’ At Fundraiser

Speaker of the House John Boehner stunned audience members Wednesday evening at a Colorado fundraiser by referring to Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz as a “jackass,” two people in attendance tell The Daily Caller.

At a Steamboat Springs event for GOP Rep. Scott Tipton, the Ohio Republican quipped that he likes how Cruz’s presidential campaign keeps “that jackass” out of Washington, and from telling Boehner how to do his job.

Everyone knows what Boehner is, and we've known for some time. I'm as upset with the supposed Constitutional Conservatives who wimped out and voted him in as Speaker AGAIN.

He does have that soused, Dean Martin look all the time.

In fairness to Dean's memory, his drunk act was just that, an act. Lots of times (MANY times) when he would come out acting buzzed, say to the conductor of the orchestra "ahhh how long I been on?" and the whole time he was sober as the proverbial judge.

Not that he wasn't able to knock a few drinks back, but Dean Martin had a strict work ethic, always work before play but he made it look like so much fun.

FWIW, look for some clips of Dean on YouTube, some of my favorites are out there, the one with him and Foster Brooks in a bar (Brooks is an airline pilot lol), another one with Phil Harris sipping tea and singing about show business, and perhaps the best one, Dean singing with Tennessee Ernie Ford, "Where Were You When The Ship Hit The Sand", some real priceless stuff.
