Ted Cruz invites Donald Trump to speak at anti-Iran deal rally at Capitol
Dallas News ^ | August 27, 2015 | Sylvan Lane

Sen. Ted Cruz has invited fellow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to speak at a rally against the Iran nuclear agreement in Washington, according to the senator’s campaign.

The rally will be held at the Capitol and sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America, according to the campaign. The date, time and exact location haven’t been finalized.

Trump told reporters in South Carolina on Thursday afternoon that he and Cruz were planning an event protesting the deal in Washington. The Daily Beast previously reported that the two campaigns were mulling joint events, and the Washington Post reported that Cruz offered to take Trump on a tour of Texas’ border with Mexico.

While other Republican candidates have taken shots at Trump and his inflammatory comments about women, Hispanic immigrants and Sen. John McCain, Cruz has praised the real estate mogul for focusing on illegal immigration and border security.

I guarantee if Cruz becomes the VP for Trump, it will not be a ceremonial position. Trump is way too smart for that, and so is Cruz.

Trump confirmed this at his press conference in Greenville, SC earlier today.

“I guarantee if Cruz becomes the VP for Trump, it will not be a ceremonial position. Trump is way too smart for that, and so is Cruz.”

First Cruz would have to accept the VP slot - very unlikely.
Trump is the bulldozer and Cruz in the architect.

That is a good list to sort and look at various ways.

But, if we are honest, age does not seem to matter which were the best versus the worst.

They shouldn’t be together at such a crazy event. Just a security precaution.

Cruz passionately cares about the issue even more than getting the credit. Show leadership to invite Trump and even to let Donald take the glory; first just nix the Iran deal.

Boehner was was just tell donors that he was happy that the campaign was “keeping that jackass out of Washington.”

Well, it looks like “that jackass” is coming back, and he’s bringing Trump with him!

Trump/Cruz would be almost co-presidents—One to handle Congress and Boarder. The other for the “Big Picture” and work trade deals. Dr. Carson can help with health Issuses and Replace Obamacare with Trumpcare and fix the VA Hospitals. There will be a place for Sarah Palin too. maybe others too. He will seek the best minds to help him with national problems. I could see him pardon Gen. Patraeus and use him as an advisor or to lead the troops of the AEF to crush IS.

For those of you who do or do not listen to Jeff Kuhner ( WRKO Boston ) has been talking about a Trump Rallye in the greater Boston area in the near future.

It wouldn't surprise me that the "Dynamic Duo" takes this on the road to Bean Town, to Kuhner Country, of which Jeff is a fan of both men.

Does anybody get this?

They are on the Defense of all things that Obama has done to turn us into a turd-world backwater, or a lesser nation

You are on defense or on Offense. We finally have two men with testicular fortitude to stand up against anything Obama!!!

I’m thinking the crowds for this rally just increased dramatically. With Trump at center stage, taking verbal blasts at Obama and the supporters of this horrible deal, the eyes of the nation will be watching.

We have this female relative in the DC area, who is a secret conservative to survive in her skill area.

A couple of months ago, she coined the phrase, Cruz is the DC Trump. Recently, we heard one of the Fox gals say the the same mantra.

She said the $inators and Congre$$its in Congress and the beltway pundits hate Cruz for the way he speaks out.
