Vester Flanagan Threatened Colleagues, Played the Race Card for Years
Daily Beast ^ | 8/26/2015 | Katie Zavadski, Kate Briquelet

The cold-blooded Roanoke killer kept getting fired, kept threatening co-workers, and kept claiming he was the real victim.

Vester Lee Flanagan claimed in a suicide note Wednesday that June’s massacre of black parishioners at a South Carolina church was “the tipping point” that sent him on the path to murdering two journalists on live television Wednesday.

But in court papers and interviews with The Daily Beast, former colleagues describe Flanagan as a problematic employee, who was repeatedly reprimanded for his harsh treatment of coworkers, and complained racism was behind harsh evaluations of his work.

“He just had a history of playing the race card,” former WTWC anchor Dave Leval told The Daily Beast. “I know he did that in Tallahassee a couple of times…”

The day Flanagan was fired from a Virginia TV station in 2013, his bosses called 911 because of his volatile behavior—an incident captured on camera by Adam Ward, a man who would later become one of his victims.

(Many more examples)

“The fact that he kept his job was because he was an African-American gay man. That’s pretty hard to say no to,” Sextro told The Daily Beast.

“He was sort of looking out for people to say things that he could take offense to.”

Using the “logic” of the Left, we should “protect ourselves” by calling for the ban all race hucksters, radical feminists and the gay lobby. You know, those who continually look out for things by which they can be offended.

By law, they can't say anything negative. When tehy don't say anything except to confirm that he did, indeed, work there, that is an implicit negative.

That's not true. It is not illegal to say anything negative or positive. An employer can be sued civilly for a negative reference, and for a positive reference, as well. Employers have been told by their legal departments to limit any references contact to the very basics: confirm employment, the dates, the position, and the salary.

If a person has to plant a garden in order to have a few vegetables to eat, they don’t have too much time, or energy, left to act up. (In other words, if a person will not work, then let him not eat. A good idea.)

My first question as well. Haven’t heard an answer. Did he follow them from the station? How would he have known anyone had a live shot? I would love to know.

That's a possibility. So you think he could have started at the station and just followed the truck?

Flanagan was a twofer on the EEOC’s “Privileged Species List”, homosexual and Black. He must have been really bad to have that all those TV outlets actually fire his government-protected butt. That’s sad when you think of all the talented graduates being churned out of universities across the fruited plain with degrees in Communication who can’t find a job in television and wind up waiting tables.

“I believe past employers cannot share info with each other regarding problem employees either for fear of lawsuits.”

No problem revealing that he was fired for cause.

How did this nut bag know these two reporters would be at this location doing a story early in the morning? Somehow he knew where they were going to be and when.

Or he sat at the station when they loaded up and followed them, or followed them from their homes, or read about it on the COC website, or saw a promo for it in the days before...

But it is not illegal or against the law to share such info. It may arise to a civil tort, but not to a crime. Not sharing info is just good business sense in this most litigious of countries.

Maybe he followed one of them. It wouldn’t have to be more than that.

This murder investigation should first start with a thorough examination of the medications or illegal drugs this guy was taking. Then if his mental condition was or wasn’t reported and why if reported how he got any gun.

Why does the guy go by 2 different names? Vester Flanagan and Bryce Williams? Was one his gay alias name sort of like Carlos Danger is another alias for the Weiner?

I’m thinking he was a steroid user, from back in his bodybuilding days.
Further, when a male queer loses the blush of youth, they can become even more unbalanced as their attractiveness wanes.

He probably still has some inside connections at the station considering he used to work there. I haven’t read anything yet on how long ago he worked there before they gave him the boot and had to have the police called to escort him off the property.
