"If that’s the case, why in the world did he select her for SOS?"If Obama's first term turned into a big Charlie Foxtrot (and some think it was) it prevented Clinton from challenging him for the nomination in 2012.
(I doubt it was his idea. It was probably his Rasputin, Valerie Jarrett's idea.)

Hillary’s claim to be the first female president will also be undermined by Obama. You know how democrats are about gender. During the Primary Obama will say he feels like a woman and he still loves his wife, so he will be the first female lesbian president and Hillary will have no first to be her claim to be elected.
