Donald Trump's bromides on undocumented immigrants appear to have deeply damaged whatever appeal he might have once had among Hispanic voters.

A new Gallup poll released Monday evening found that 65 percent of Hispanic voters say they have an unfavorable view of Trump, compared with 14% who view him favorably - yielding him a net favorable score of -51, well below any other presidential candidate.

I’d like to know the answer to that question as well. If Trump can pull, say, just 13% of the black vote, he’s in excellent shape. That would make states like Ohio and North Carolina a lock, and put Pennsylvania very much in play.

I think Trump could flip Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virgina because of the black population in those states. That would afford him enough cushion to lose all the other states Romney lost + lose Arizona (unlikely).

It's my feeling that people don't want "liberal" or "conservative". They want "action".

What you don’t seem to understand, since were talking race voting. You don’t need the Mexican vote if you get the majority of the white vote. Let’s let the democrats have the black and Mexican vote and we win with the middle class white vote every time.

The question is who was sampled: registered voters? Or those who identify as hispanic? Big difference there. A large portion of hispanics can’t vote because they aren’t citizens.

Methodology is everything. And like it or not the media lied enough about what Trump said and turned it into a blast about all Mexicans. My sister, pretty liberal, said the other night that she HEARD trump say all mexicans are rapists and murderers. I said nonsense but the point is that the media lying about his statements does make a difference.

The good thing is that the election is pretty far out yet. And the longer trump is out there the more the truth will get out.
