GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush's clarification of his usage of the term, "anchor baby" did not go over well with Asian Americans, who took to Twitter Monday evening in response to the former Florida governor's latest remarks.
Bush, conflating the current debate over undocumented immigration with maternity tourism, effectively shifted the focus surrounding the use of the controversial term "anchor babies," from Hispanics to Asians.
"What I was talking about was the specific case of fraud being committed, where there's organized efforts -- and frankly it's more related to Asian people coming into our country -- having children in that organized effort, taking advantage of a noble concept, which is birthright citizenship," Bush said Monday in McAllen, Texas.
Asian Americans, the fastest-growing racial group in the country, were quick to respond on social media.
A 2014 study found that Asian Americans were the least likely of all groups to be contacted by political parties, despite the population's growing political clout. Bush's comments drew criticism that he would further alienate an already-marginalized community before next year's election, as well accusations that Bush was attempting to placate one minority group at the expense of another.

“Oooh, more outrage! What will we do?!?”
Easy....more popcorn.
Wealthy Asians are abusing the system... but luckily until Jeb opened his big fat mouth and told the world about it, it wasn’t a big a problem.

LOL! Not Asian, but got the translation :-)
This is the la raza crowd (which should be classified as a terrorist organization btw) expressing their disdain through el jeffe JEB! that they really don’t like the asians muscling in on their anchor baby invasion racket.
The NAU/NWO that the bush clan promised to mexico/central/south american oligarchs is being threatened by asian and US nationalist influence.
Expect the RNC/DNC regime to pull out the long swords to eviscerate anyone who may be a threat to their best laid plans.
Trump, Cruz, Carson, and Walker top the hit list of the RNC/DNC, and each will be dealt with accordingly.
Lets all do a little research and not just guess and try to remember.

Well, which immigrant group is more likely to look to the Republicans? Which group is less likely to be a social problem? With respect to criminal activity? With respect to IQ? (If you are not aware of the Richwine study, consider: Jason Richwine & America's Future.)
Secondly, how do we know that Jeb is now irrelevant? Well did the media and organizational favorite in any contest ever collapse so immediately, at the first dust-off from a new rival? Ever before? The instantaneous Trump dominance of any two man comparison, bespeaks the fact that Jeb simply is not relevant to this level of politics.
He may be a very nice guy. His views on immigration are obviously heavily influenced by his own family situation. That is not a matter of better insight; it is only an understandable bias. But an understandable bias does not repeal the duty of an American President, which has never been to be a friend to the world. It has always been to take care of the legitimate interests of the rooted population; just as the duty of a Mexican or Honduran President is to his own people.
Live by the PC game, die by the PC game.
Why should the 14th Amendment be special? The Feral Government has twisted every other word in the Constitution beyond recognition.
Jeb would make a great president.
(On the current satirical TV show The Brink.)
It’s very simple. If your baby’s born in the US and used to obtain the benefits of LEGAL immigrants and citizens, it’s an anchor baby, period. No reference to race, nationality, etc. is necessary.
Hurts their feelings ? It should.
Certainly wouldn't want THOSE people in 'merica
