Mainstream people think Cruz is crazy. I heard Bill Handel on KFI say that this morning. They (including social lib Handel) really think he is a right wing religious freak and it will take a LOT to change their minds. I think beat case scenario for Cruz, and I love him, is for Trump to take him aboard.
Again, you are comparing a close race (President) with a non-contest (EVERY single statewide office in Texas is held by a Republican).
People don’t turn out in a Presidential election year to vote in a race that’s all but decided.
Your dreadful concern about that half percentage point difference is charming to someone I’m sure, but has no basis in reality.
