15 unsolicited observations about Hillary Clinton’s email
sharylattkisson.com ^ | August 23-, 2015 | Sharyl Attkisson

1. Crime and politics.

Even if Clinton—or any presidential candidate—were to be convicted of a felony, he or she would not technically be barred from being elected president. Additionally, whether or not Clinton is ever formally accused of any crime, President Obama could issue her a pardon, if he so chose.

2. Time was of the essence.

The more time that passes between an event and the collection of evidence, the greater the likelihood that the full record will not be complete and/or accurate.

3. Turning a blind eye?

Raymond Maxwell. A year ago, Maxwell alleged he witnessed a Benghazi document sorting operation in the basement of the State Department with Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan present.

4. What difference does it make?

Clinton has shifted her verbiage in significant ways:

No matter the wordplay, the inspector general of the Intelligence Community has provided information that, if true, means all of Clinton’s statements are false.

5. FBI as custodian.

For example, hypothetically, what if the FBI were to discover that some of Clinton’s missing emails contain information that could be damaging to President Obama on Benghazi or another matter? It should be noted that the FBI is not, historically, immune from the effects of politics or mistakes. For example, the FBI falsely claimed that accused spy Wen Ho Lee had failed his lie detector test when he had actually passed; admits falsifying some evidence over two decades to obtain convictions; sometimes fails to lawfully comply with Freedom of Information Act law; took part in the questionable IRS effort to prosecute groups for political reasons; and hid evidence in the botched prosecution of Senator Ted Stevens.

Reported two-month gap in Clinton emails coincides with escalating Libya violence

The Daily Beast reported late Tuesday that no emails between Clinton and her State Department staff for the months of May and June 2012 are among the estimated 2,000 messages that have been released from the Democratic presidential frontrunner's account.

What should happen:

What WILL happen:

What we would all like to see happen...

My guess is she will skate off cackling like she always has. The press has no interest in seeing this story do anything but die a rapid death, the Republicans are spineless jellyfish, the Dems want her to skate...

I am astounded by what this woman gets away with. When are the Democrats going to say: ENOUGH!

Likely when they see she cannot win the WH.

deleting tens of thousands of documents prior to independent review,

I wonder if that company in Colorado that contracted to wipe the HD did the prudent thing and made a copy. Surely they did.

Don't worry, the FBI is going do a full and complete investigation.

The FBI will be so thorough that the investigation will last until around the year 2035.

Of course, no one will allowed to discuss, comment or answer questions until after 2035 because the topic is subject an ongoing criminal investigation.

The Clintons honed this dodge to a fine art 20 years ago.

Surely the beast has enough enemies that one or more of them would feel compelled to extinguish her.

The most likely explanation for Hillary’s behavior is that some of the emails are so bad she will do anything to keep them from being known. So far, she has been successful.

“ome of the emails are so bad she will do anything to keep them from being known”

the abject fear that has contorted her face...in several photographs taken recently would certainly lend a great deal of credence to your statement

It is not hard to guess what she’s worried about: “If you could possibly be able to contribute $5 million to the Clinton Foundation, I believe this issue could be resolved without any difficulty. Please keep in touch and let me know how you feel about this idea.”

The headers did not necessarily appear in the GUI provided by his email client. If he was using Outlook, it would just show “From: Hillary Clinton”.

The idea of the POTUS selecting the ‘display full headers” in a dropdown is ludicrous - is he supposed to check the sending IP?

1) Who transported Hillary’s server from NY to NJ? Did the Secret Service (who Hilary insists had been guarding it since it was really Bill’s Lie-Berry/Foundation asset) accompany and supervise the transport of the server? Per the interview with Platte River Networks, did they just take it, lock it up, not power it up, connect it to the internet, or not have it functioning as an active email server? Was there continuity of server activity between May 2013 to August 2015, or did the server go off-line starting in June 2013?

2) Who received actual server in NJ - the name of the Platte River Networks employee/technician? What WAS it - make/model/form factor, etc.? Did the Clinton Foundation (or issuer of the RFP on Hillary’s behalf) indicate that the company that would provide data services be qualified to handle national-security-level data?

3) In various interviews and reports, Platte River Networks repeatedly stated they were to “upgrade, manage, and secure” the server. What - specifically - does that mean?

4) What did Hillary’s RFP/contract instruct the data center to do specifically?

5) Does Platte River Networks have sufficient security clearance to handle this type of contract?

6) What were the firewall protocols in place at the time?

7) Who - by name - had access to the server, and the administrative authorization to wipe and cleanse the server? When was that done? Does “upgrade, manage, and secure” the server mean that Platte River Networks was given the task to remove all data from the server when it received it in June 2013?

8) Was malware or antivirus also on the server? Was the inherent firewall, virus protection, or operating system “upgraded, managed, and secured”? Any incidents reported such as DOS attack, hacking, etc.? What were they? How were they resolved?

9) Other than arranging for the server to be moved from NY to NJ, what was the Denver company contracted to do in relation to maintaining the server? What tangible evidence is there that the server arrived in functioning condition, was being used as an email server, was “upgraded, managed, and secured”, then wiped just prior to seizure by the FBI? Did Platte River Networks set up a "mirror" server, wipe out a dummy server, and send the zombie server to the FBI?

10) Were normal and regular backup procedures executed on the server, and where would the back ups be kept? If no backups were taken, was there a disaster recovery location? Where was that? If no backups and no disaster recovery, what was the plan if the equipment failed or found to have been wiped of any functionality?

11) Were any foreign nationals employed at Platte River Networks that had access to the Clinton server?

If this was just about Granny Clinton being stupid, she would just admit it and give us the “Aw Shucks” routine.

Our girl Hillary did some very bad things concerning Libya and Qadaffi.

Very bad things.

The American Press and Democrat voters have been loyal cheerleaders for thieves and killers.

And where is the domain controller for the Active Directory domain that Exchange server had to belong to? Did the also have physical access to that? If they did, then they potentially had access to admin credentials that could remotely access not just that Exchange server, but the client computers that connected to it.

There had to be a full transfer from old server/equipment to new server/equipment or there would have been nothing to sort through and turn over.

Unless the "new" server is found finding just the "old" server is a deliberate ruse, IMO.

Nowadays, ‘tech savvy’ doesn’t mean that you actually know how technology really works. Most people who use it treat it as magic.
