YEah, I went riding recently without one and quickly realized, it’s not that unlikely that I could fall off of this thing. But I agree, they generally look very wussy.

This is what we should expect in a run-up to war: destroy the foe’s ammunition stocks.

I consider this a more serious red flag than the subs swarming at sea.

(thoughtfully)...oh sh*t.

Keeping up with John Kerry.

Yes, but do you think this POS prez is going fast enough to need a helmet?

Skull fractures can occur from a fall of as little as 3 feet onto pavement. (The medical research *before* the crash test dummies, helping to establish parameters from which to interpret their data.)

A typhoon might be good cover for submarines by keeping surface ships off the waters?

If the NORKS go South.

The Chinese might use the opportunity to kick some Taiwanese and Japanese butts especially since they may need the distraction from their domestic economic problems.

Interesting. Both explosions in China, and now this one in Japan, seem to target storage of dangerous chemicals. As if they are looking for mass casualty and massive infrastructure affects. A multiplying effect from a small sabatoge team ?

it happened at night on a weekend in a storage area, very suspect. There is not a lot of public info on what is stored there and any kind of artillery shells would be stored in a bunker.

NK has about 70, 20 or so Romeos and 50 or so minisubs. The Romeos probably stayed in port,NASCAR has quieter races. The minis are used to insert commandos or to ambush SK ships.

That is why I wear a bike helmet everywhere I go, regardless of the strange looks I get from people.

China massing on the NK border isn’t uncommon. It also isn’t to support N.Korea
