Real estate tycoon Donald Trump cast doubt Monday on whether Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) can run for president, because Cruz was born in Canada.
"It’s a hurdle; somebody could certainly look at it very seriously," Trump said during a phone interview Monday on My Fox New York.
"He was born in Canada. If you know and when we all studied our history lessons, you are supposed to be born in this country, so I just don't know how the courts will rule on this."

Natural Born and even citizenship rules for election have been effectively nullified by the election of Hussein and by congressional action “clearing” McCain to run in ‘08. Anyone on earth is effectively allowed to be President of the United States.

How can Cruz put it to rest if the question Trump raised, how the courts would rule on it, hasn’t been answered?
Sounds like Trump simply gave a straightforward and honest answer. Maybe his team looked at it and considered that it could be seen as a knock against picking him as veep, because there’d be question as to whether Cruz could rise to the presidency in case of emergency. President Boehner?
