Years ago I worked at a small bioparm company called Genentech as an intern just out of college.
They got gov’t approval to sell some drug or something and to celebrate they threw a party/concert.
Stevie was the secret surprise guest. He had special handlers on stage who grabbed the beach balls we were hitting around and deflated/discarded them, to prevent Stevie from getting bonked on the head. We were mad - we paid for those balls!
Maybe he should propose beach ball control too.
Sidenote: Stevie also had a surprise secret guest of his own that day: MC Hammer, who stole the show entirely and made Stevie look pale by comparison..
I am sure other Freepers were there that day. It was around 1999-2000.

Some people are bad. They want to kill good people.
When a bad guy comes after you with a gun, most people call a good guy with a gun.
You can’t ask violent criminals and corrupt power-hungry governments to “cross their hearts and hope to die” and then everyone will be safe.
Such industrial strength atomic powered naivete seems strange coming from a guy that has written quite a few poignant and insightful songs.
Perhaps he’s suffering from Alzheimer’s?
