If Truz is DT’s VP, he will be only 45. 8 years from 2016, he will be 53. Wow!!

"I would like to see Jeff Sessions Senate Majority Leader."

Yep.

And Cruz as Leader of the Judiciary Committee.

In fact, the Senators who are now in the POTUS race would all be of greater service if it ends up they all stay right where hey are.

That, and add the category to the exclusions within Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952, and you’ll have it in two places.

Seems like I remember reading a few years ago that one hospital—Parkland Memorial in Dallas, IIRC— billed Medicaid over 30 million in one calendar year, for labor and delivery costs for illegal alien mothers.
One hospital, one year. Extrapolate this to all the public hospitals.
And the 30 million was only the cost of the anchor babies’ first day on earth, not including the next 18 years.
These baby mamas are leaving the delivery room and immediately signing up their Little Citizens for the full package of entitlements.

Would be nice if Cruz would work with Jeff Sessions to limit rather than increase H1b work visas for foreigners.

A tourist for example.

Since neither of the parents are citizens, the child should not be granted citizenship.

called for ... and changing the 14th Amendment to end so-called "birthright citizenship."

That's the propaganda wording. No change to the 14th Amendment is necessary. Just read it like it is written.

changing the 14th Amendment to end so-called "birthright citizenship."

What he said is a lot of legal experts say it doesn't need to be changed and it will have to be challenged in court.

What about the legal non-immigrant category? A tourist for example.

A tourist, with a valid visa, is here legally and "under the jurisdiction thereof".

Recognize that the State Dept can embargo tourist visas for pregnant females if that is in accord with stated policy.

Huge difference between “repealing the 14th amendment” and simply clarifying and codifying into law the fact that the words “and subject to the jurisdiction of...” would exclude those that are in the country illegally.

He's supposed to be this brilliant constitutional lawyer and he never mentioned the wording regarding "birthright" for illegals?

Even Mark Levin beat him to it by days.

Were you saying something about "me too"?

In fact, where is his policy on illegal immigration? Everyone was screaming for Trump's and we've yet to see one from Cruz...Well, except for increasing (30 million) green cards and H1B visas.

Maybe he's waiting for his wife to get it from her pals at the CFR.

The VP only takes care of the Senate if he or she want to.

A tourist won’t fall under “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” part of the 14th Amendment.

Then, Crump it is. It also fits the literacy level of the mob.

That’s because he knows it doesn’t have to be repealed to be fixed.

The guy is a Constitutional genius.

Apparently, you’d only need an executive order to end birthright citizenship.
