25% is really quite impressive at this point where there are about dozen serious candidate, which would include those consistently over 5% such as Jeb Bush, but not those with zero chance like Linda Graham or the Doughboy.

By the time it gets down to the final four, he needs to be polling a consistent 30% or more. This usually happens on or shortly after Super Tuesday. But it could happen as soon as or shortly after South Carolina.

I very strongly suspect that the economy and the market are going to crater over next 18 months.

If that happens that will make Trump’s case in spades. People will be panicked and here is this guy saying let’s make America great again.

That will push him above 40% on his way to 50%.

I don’t know if it’ll get that bad, but the Obama lies about improvement are being disproven often. I read the next GDP report will be .07% growth.

There are several things that could boost Trump along with the economic situation. I think we’ll see some spike from his immigration position in polls taken fully after the announcement, and other positions like trade and tax policy could give a boost.

I've been telling my friends the same for 2 weeks now.. nearly all of them now tend to agree with me and what you stated in your post.

I have honestly arrived at the conclusion the Bush Presidency is incontrovertible proof Republican administrations will fail if they don't control the "narrative," and the Obama Presidency proves Democrat administrations will not be permitted to fail.
