The political story of the summer is Donald Trump
(Excerpt) Read more at nypost.com ...
Were flying blind here, people. Nobody knows whats really going on.
How about crowds? Are any candidates having luck drawing big crowds? Crowds are harder to fake than polls.
There is only one poll that counts.
Looks like the GOPe is trying to poop on Trump’s parade again.
They won’t stop.
Meanwhile, I support Ted Cruz but fully understand why people support Trump and hope Ted understands business as usual won’t cut it on Amnesty, Obamacare etc. etc.
Policies of reversal, not replacement are needed......
I am in soviet Red Hampshire (home of the libertarian 'Weed State Project'), and I hang up on these pollsters ALL the time.
Been saying that for a long time...
But many are into gossip.. which are what POLLS really are..
if not outright astrology.. prophecy by an “adept”
Adept at what nobody knows.. but needs yer money..
Much like Donald Trump... the Music Man.. Harold Hill..

I suppose primitive math skills are too much to ask of a NY Post columnist. About 24% of voters identify as Republicans, and so if about half of them vote, as planned, that’s about 10% of the electorate, or about as many as voted in 2012. Now, yes, some independents can vote in some states, but then again, it is reasonable to expect that more polled voters “plan” to vote than will actually get to the polls.
From at least my perspective, I do. There is a seething rage out here in real America at the illegal actions of Obama, the outright duplicitous absurdity of the Democrats in nearly every facet of life (from PP, to LGTBQW, to Muslims, to illegals, ObamaCare, you name it).
Couple that with the abject cowardice, no sabotage (a better word) of lying scheming, power hungry establishment Republicans fueled by CoC and big bidness, and you have a rock solid foundation for that seething rage.
People out here in the Badlands (as the DC/NY elites would think) are just plain fed up. Fed up with anything that even smells like current government and business-as-usual. And Trump with his bravado, stand-your-ground never give up attitude and showcasing of the single biggest deathblow to this country (illegals) is focusing that rage.
I’m not necessarily a Trump voter, but I hope he remains in this long enough to coalesce some of this rage into the death of Jeb Bush’s campaign, and Christie, and Kasich, and Graham, and any of the others that want to give this country away to invaders.
The polls are always junk when you’re doing poorly in them.
He is for real.

Heard some real ‘confusing’ #’s today... jibberish at best
Said Trumps latest poll gives him 27(??) of Republican Votes in the crowded field.
However, in the same string ‘they’ claimed that 60 percent of the R’s wouldn’t vote for him.... the ‘assumption’ was it was the same poll but that makes less sense than if it were 2 different polls...
?????
What ever happened to the “Do not call” lists? Seems that is a joke. We get several calls on our phones (land line and cell) which both have been listed on the “Do not call” list. Do we have to list our phones every month now?
It is getting very disturbing when you sit down to dinner or go use the bathroom or are busy reading Free Republic to answer the phone for some pollster. I hang up on them immediately.
Is there another way to be rid of those people?
Still in the denial stage of the seven stages of grief.
Twisted Sister....

Listen and get motivated.
Libs heads exploding all over.
Yes—that was, per usual, a pure propaganda poll from CNN!
Trump’s unfavorables are 1% higher than Bush’s—the Establishment candidate that all the usual suspects want to shove down our throat, despite Trump’s being better known than Bush, so negatives would be expected to be higher—and they put that out all over the news. (Hillary’s are right up there too.)
Of course, Trump is the choice of two times the voters as anyone else in the field—and nearly half of think he’d handle the economy and immigration better than anyone else—but they dig and dig for anything they can cast negatively.
But what’s really bogus is that they asked whether the Republicans would have a better chance with Trump or with anyone else. 38% said they’d have a better chance with Trump, which is huge, considering that there are 17 people in the primary field. However, what they publicize is that 58% said someone else (actually lower than would be expected for even a far-leading candidate in such a large field at this point).
Here’s where you know this is complete propaganda—they only asked this question about Trump! Not about any other Republicans or any Democrats at all! It was a pure gotcha question.
You have to really dig to find this, but here’s where they gave the data on it: Trump is the sole candidate asked about on this in Question 22:
http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/18/politics/cnn-orc-poll-republicans-2016-election/index.html
You can see that question both on page 14 and later in the document. But in the pages up to page 13 they present question 21.
And, separately, in this document over here —
http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2015/images/08/18/rel8b.-.democrats.2016.pdf
— you can see that question 23 went on to something completely unrelated.
They really are biased scum.
The NY Post hasn’t figured out that the people are ready to clean house in DC.
Oh Well.
Yes, and if all of but the top 3-4 dropped out, where would the support go? I bit Trump as the alternative of Bush, Rubio, Walker, etc. is not an alternative.
The ones answering the polls are aliens.... From Zeta Reticuli b
