MTSU student charged with murder in Murfreesboro woman's death

Murfreesboro police have charged 22-year-old Brandon Richmond Bowling with first-degree murder in connection to the death of Heather Maples.

Bowling, who is a senior at Middle Tennessee State University, was booked into the Rutherford County jail just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

A spokesperson with the university confirmed Bowling's status to Channel 4. Bowling was registered to resume classes this fall.

His arrest comes more than a week after Maples' body was found in her apartment on Brown Drive. She was not a student of MTSU.

Police are still not saying how the 22-year-old woman died.

Dang wardaddy if anything like that had ever happened to my mother or sisters, even just coming close to it but mercifully not happening, they and my whole family would be traumatised. It’s traumatic enough to know that we, as women, even have to worry about this stuff, because it’s so common these days, the media refuses to report on it, putting us at even greater risk (remember when they ran breathless stories about the rash of serial killers in the Seventies? It was a public service, but they weren’t concerned with PC either), and they as often as not commit the attacks in groups (like that poor young girl, something like 12 IIRC, in Texas, who was gang-raped by a group of blacks-they actually were so evil that they called their “homies” on their cell phones to come get in on it-just utter depraved evil-next thing we see the Black Panthers are out showing their azzes as usual on behalf of these animals and saying that the 12yo girl asked for it-I wanted to jump through the computer screen and kill everyone of them myself when I saw that). I’ve lived over half a century now without being subjected to that “side” of life, when I was coming up, it wasn’t even a consideration-not only to be rejected, but just never even considered, and I’m sorry but the idea makes me feel dirty. Anyway, these evil useless eaters are attacking elderly white women these days-as God is my witness, if one ever broke into my home after my poor husband is gone (he is fighting cancer), I’d laugh with joy to put a bullet through his thick head, and know I’d done the world, not just myself, a service.

I’m a Tennessean who lives in Mississippi. I love both states and I hate what I’m seeing. It’s a plague all right.

It seems young whites have been desensitized to the danger. I’ve got three gorgeous daughters and they have been warned. Everywhere we go I see the ferals gawking at them. They stare at my still stunning wife, too. I can’t lock the four of them up and keep them at home, but I fear what could happen to them, particularly around Memphis. They all know how to shoot, but it’s illegal for my daughters to carry a gun. My wife carries and she is ultra-careful about where she stops and what routes she takes. I hope my daughters have her cautious instincts.

I know a man who put a pistol in his underage daughter’s car a few years ago and she actually shot a feral who tried to get at her. She had stopped for gas in an unknown and unsafe place and one tried to get in her car and she popped him. Amazingly enough, they didn’t prosecute her for having the gun or him for putting it in her car.

These young suburban white boys I see have little chance against the ferals. The country boys probably wouldn’t fare much better.
