DAVI: Donald Trump is Awakening the American Dream
Breitbart ^ | 17 Aug 2015 | Robert Davi

Posted on 08/17/2015 5:20:29 PM PDT by mandaladon

On June 15, while Donald Trump was announcing his candidacy for President of the United States, I began to write.

My article was published here on June 16, and I was way out front in how Donald Trump would resonate with the American people. Needless to say, I received tons of flak and ridicule. Also, the majority of pundits smirkingly dismissed it as an absurdity to think Trump would make a serious run.

Well, my dear fellow Americans, it is now two months since he made his announcement and I must say—while I feel there are some terrific candidates—Trump towers over all like a colossus

For years I have heard people say “what America needs is someone who is successful to run the country,” “is this the best America has to offer?”, ” there is so much scrutiny in running anyone who is very successful would never run,” etc., etc. Enter Donald Trump.

Trump is a force of nature with a love for America that has made him sacrifice his very successful life. He now brings a message of bold, forceful, positive energy. I do not like when I hear him referred to as “bombastic.”

When pundits refer to him this way it is because the Donald does not fit into the cookie cutter way they perceive politics, and his direct, no nonsense style is criticized to minimize his message. While I listen to all the candidates speak, Trump inspires the most confidence. I believe he will be able to negotiate with other world leaders. I believe he can inspire the confidence to bring Americans together and reset our national will. I believe he is exactly what America needs right now.

While Todd attempted to trap Trump—and expected him to come across as unlikable or clueless—Trump answered honestly and directly. He had Todd stumped. Watch Chuck Todd’s face, you will see a subtle look of perplexity and frustration that he wasn’t able to make the Donald look, well, un-presidential. ..............The MSM will keep on trying to bring Trump down

This was really a key part of that Chuck Todd interview. Chuck kept trying all the MSM mind tricks where he is usually able to get the conservative to “fold” and trap them into feeling guilty about some position they hold.

Trump just stood his ground, a higher ground above Chuck Todd, and looked down on him.

Agree or disagree with aspects of Trump’s politics or personal life, but those type of moments are why we love the guy at the moment,

I agree with Davi. The country is circling the drain we don’t need another dose of mediocrity in the Whitehouse. That’s how we got where we are.

It’s gonna take someone like Trump to undo all obama has done to destroy America.

I wonder how he’s going to tackle race relations.

Even if obama willingly gives up office to someone like Trump, obama will not just go away. His mouth will be in full gear and the MSM will be behind him. obama’s biggest card is the race card and he and Al can keep them all stirred up.

Running off the illegals is a cake walk compared to race relations.

I think I’m getting it..

Pity few others can “see it”... brilliant actually..
WHO could come close to Ted Cruz except a Showman.. a reptile.. a Chameleon..

A Chameleon that can turn all sorts of colors..
even conservative colors..

Trump is a Trojan Horse... but plays a Chameleon quite well..

Before this election cycle, I had accepted the trite narrative of the buffoonish Trump. Now, every day I am increasingly impressed with his dynamism. This week he sat down and listened to Senator Sessions!! All the effeminate class of pundits are competing for Eunuch of the Week.

Darn it, he's a lot of fun!

I agree that we are witnessing history here. This is somewhat similar to when Reagan got into the race in November of 1979. At that time, people were getting resigned to a Jimmy Carter/George Bush matchup. But enter Reagan. At first, people thought of him as a clown. A “B” movie actor who co-starred with a chimpanzee. Johnny Carson thought that was funny. Slowly but surely, we all came around to him.

,

But personally, I don't care. Its the 2016 slave owners doing anything to keep their cheap illegal work force or its Trump. That's your choices because no one else has the $, personality, and megaphone to overcome the overlords except Trump.

Ronald Reagan was an accomplished 2-term governor and a conservative.

Liberal Donald Trump is a political infant.

Apples and oranges.

Way to go Robert Davi! You are so far vindicated.

But I don’t think your colleagues that criticized you will ever apologize. The ones that do you should cherish as friends.

From the movie: “We didn’t come here to fight for them,” (them = the Scottish land owners)- how appropriate ...

I would venture to say broccoli and brussels sprouts, both an acquired taste but so good when roasted in olive oil and a little garlic.

It is not for me to say whether one is more conservative than the other but it sure feels good to feel good about America again. How about that 70 foot flagpole in West Palm. Really upset the locals down there. I say let that flag fly!

I lived thru all that... before and after... I saw it..
Different situation here..

Not completely different but still very different..
That was pre-internet.. we had primitive bulletin boards..

The powers that “were” did not have a Uni-Party.. like now..
The “Enemy” has become much much smarter and sophisticated.. Now..

Even upper ranks of the Republican Party are “the Enemy”.. Now.. like Agents in the Matrix..

They have go stealth.. i.e. Boehner, McConnell, Hatch, and the Bush’s...

It’s awesome what they have done... even just the 2012 rep. convention.. awesome..
Selecting a known obvious collaborator with democrats as candidate.. i.e. Myth Romney..

The smart ones will be looking for Chameleons here at this junction in the process..
Over-looking the obvious ones.. that are there to make the gambit(S) look legitimate..

Unless they are silly gullible naive Villagers.. seems most are..
I’m a pitch-fork and torch guy, placards for TRUMP or even Cruz .. simply won’t do..

This election is indeed REALITY TV... not kinda but completely..
Even the first debate was scripted.. a good progressive show..

And YET.. some go to their hands for “treats” like a pavlof dog..
Brilliant awesome display of mass population control..
