Agree. Anybody who wants mandatory vaccinations is not the guy for President of a “free” country. I don’t trust him. He needs to stick to doctoring.

Haw haw haw your puffery is so obvious. I don’t care how “inane” you think that is. Truth is truth however phrased.

When you toss a rock at a pack of dogs you can tell which one you hit easily enough. It is the one that's yelping.

False equivalence is not "truth", it is a deliberate distortion of the truth, i.e. a "strawman."

Of course you want people to rely on YOUR “some reading” like you are the Official Reader.

No, I want them to show me their reading and reasoning if they have an opinion contrary to my own. The serious ones do, the silly ones start trading childish messages with me.

Agreed. I lost interest when I found out that the constitution seems to mean little to him with regard to the Second Amendment.

The Constitution has two criteria for holding the office of President: 35 years of age or older and a natural born citizen. This is because every citizen has a right to run for President but that does not mean they are really qualified to be President. That’s for the electorate to decide. IMO Ben Carson is not prepared to make good decisions when faced with really hard choices and emergency situations.

Other than that I have no problem with a non politician running for President as I am fully backing Donald Trump who I believe whether you agree with him or not is qualified to be President based on the criteria I mentioned above.

Except that drugs are giving to sick people, while vaccines are given to nearly everyone. Low margins in large volumes translates to big profits. I assume you’ve heard of Wal-Mart?

Pills generally have billions of dollars worth of research and development, while most vaccines are made in the same old way, so pretty much anyone can make them.

What this means in financial terms is that the production of vaccines is pretty much available to every pharma company in the world, and they generally cannot be protected from competition.

This makes their profits margin thin, because without protection, the price drops to what the market will bear. This is why a lot of pharma companies have gotten out of the vaccine and anti-biotic business. Why work at that when you can make billions doing erectile disfunction or high blood pressure medication?

Now this does not apply to vaccines for such exotic diseases as AIDS or EBOLA, but for most run of the mill vaccines, it does.

Your "Walmart Analogy" would be correct if you apply it to something abundant like water, or something. In that regard, Walmart is not making all that much off of the sale, nor are they making enough sales to make it worth their while to focus on water.

Foolish you say?
Not if it’s YOUR baby thrown into convulsions for 3 days from her “baby” shot!
Not when she goes to sign up for kindergarten and you meet 2 other moms who went through the same horrible scene and were also lied to by their doctor and hospitals that this condition hadn’t been caused by the shot. Then I stopped playing the game until I was lied to again by the school saying I HAD to have my twins’ shots for them to start school.
Boy twin came down with all 3 kinds of measles from the measles shot.
End of that foolishness.
When my youngest ran into a dumpster while horsing around at school. I did take him for a tetanus shot and our doctor asked if he had had any other shots and when I told him no, he told me that I was a GOOD mom.
His nephew had been permanently brain damaged by his DPT shot.
Foolish, I think not.

Some people react badly to the shots. Most people do not. The nation can't make policies based on the exceptions, they must do what is in the best interests of the majority. Care should be taken to protect the minority of people for whom this is not true, but all you can do is due diligence, you can't magically make everything work perfectly.

If your child had a bad reaction to the shots, then I'm sorry, but vaccines are known to have saved far more people than they have harmed.

Sometimes bad luck is just the luck of the draw.

I’ve said my say, and you can chose to ridicule or misunderstand it as you wish. There may be unresolved issues regarding vaccines, but until better science comes along to support your arguments, i’m going with what I understand to be correct science.

We don’t do vaccinations.
WE have exceptionally healthy kids and grand kids.
Some of them are state and national champions in their chosen sport.
Most of them are national Honor Society also.
They also have traveled all over the country in competitions.
WHY?should they have been shot up with Mercury, aluminum and now fetal tissue?
Anyone ever hear that fear is correctly False Evidence Assumed Real?
Really glad I was early in education myself.

If there’s no significant money to be made on vaccines, can you then explain why the vaccine makers were funding the ads in favor of the mandatory vaccine law California passed a month or so back?

Please don’t say out of the kindness of their heart - if that was the case, they’d have been OPEN about it.

One of my doctors actually told me that I was a GOOD mom because I didn’t do shots for my kids and my daughter also had a doctor who didn’t do them and educated her on their bad side.

Did you know that Polio did not exist before the vaccine became available? Little known truth. #BeleeMeImAProgrammer

No, I didn’t know that but I did know that the vaccine was made from the kidneys of Rehusus (sp) monkeys which almost always carry some cancers.

“Other than that I have no problem with a non politician running for President”

Then we agree.

Just as an aside, to me, being dishonest disqualifies one from being President, but we've had plenty of those, including the current Democrat front-runner. I don't know the answer to this question, but as an interesting exercise I would like to know how many who have run for the Presidency have gone on to criminal convictions, or at least major scandal.
