it wouldn’t hurt him to consider Biblical teachings...
he can make his own mind up anyway of course, but his statement does not inspire confidence, that’s for sure.
Right now he is in my NO column
He’s too boring even to compete. I think he’s a good governor, from what little I know, but not even remotely a good candidate.
This is just dumb on his part. He is trying to straddle the centerline, and just loses everyone’s respect.
OH can have him and Boehner; I want neither.
As a strong evangelical, I took it to mean that perhaps he has created a solid foundation in Biblical principles in past years perhaps since childhood. In which case, he wouldnt have to read (present tense) the Bible each time he needs to make a decision. If solidly grounded in the Bible, then its part of who he is and right thinking would be natural.
Im not a Kasich fan, but his statement cold be very benign.
I'm usually all for giving someone the benefit of the doubt, but he's been saying stupid things since he started his campaign...
I wouldn’t trust any politician who CLAIMED he thought the BIBLE answers questions like whether to expand Medicaid.
I would think that he thought he was speaking to morons.
That’s the face a politician is supposed to make when he’s caught in a sex scandal. As in the meme: “How to tell if your dog has been caught in a sex scandal.”
“Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or by a power without them; either by the Word of God or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or by the bayonet.”
— Robert Winthrop, early Speaker of the U.S. House
“Within the covers of the Bible are the answers to all of the problems men face.”
== Ronald Reagan
Well, John, that’s too bad.
That made me search guilty dog images, and this popped up and made me laugh :D
So much more adorable than a John Kasich!
When he was a Congressman, wasn’t he involved with 5 other Congressman, in an investigation of a young woman, who was later murdered on a hiking trail.
The case was later solved when they found a vagrant who they were able to pin the murder on.
“I would think that he thought he was speaking to morons.”
Or was setting us up for how he can support Homosexuals, by selectively using the Bible.
Glad he was not a founding father of this great nation.
Spot on.
