DILBERT CREATOR: TRUMP ‘BITCH SLAPPED’ THE ENTIRE GOP ESTABLISHMENT
Breitbart ^ | August 16,2014

Posted on 08/16/2015 6:15:17 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Scott Adams writes in a blog post called ‘Clown Genius’ that Trump appears to be unstoppable:

Like many of you, I have been entertained by the unstoppable clown car that is Donald Trump. On the surface, and several layers deep as well, Trump appears to be a narcissistic blow-hard with inadequate credentials to lead a country.

The only problem with my analysis is that there is an eerie consistency to his success so far. Is there a method to it? Is there some sort of system at work under the hood?

Probably yes. Allow me to describe some of the hypnosis and persuasion methods Mr. Trump has employed on you. (Most of you know I am a trained hypnotist and this topic is a hobby of mine.)

For starters, Trump literally wrote the book on negotiating, called The Art of the Deal. So we know he is familiar with the finer points of persuasion. For our purposes today, persuasion, hypnosis, and negotiating all share a common set of tools, so I will conflate them.

Would Trump use his negotiation and persuasion skills in the campaign? Of course he would. And we expect him to do just that.

But where is the smoking gun of his persuasion? Where is his technique laid out for us to see.

Everywhere.

As I said in my How to Fail book, if you are not familiar with the dozens of methods of persuasion that are science-tested, there’s a good chance someone is using those techniques against you.

If you’re keeping score, in the past month Trump has bitch-slapped the entire Republican Party, redefined our expectations of politics, focused the national discussion on immigration, proposed the only new idea for handling ISIS, and taken functional control of FOX News. And I don’t think he put much

Where is the Adams column from 2008 saying the same about a certain half-black junior Senator from Illinois?

Yeah, yeah. Okay. So he was never a community organizer and he didn't enroll in 4 or 5 different universities and he didn't serve in the Senate for 150 days where he voted "present" more than half the time.

I mean, c'mon, who could live up to THOSE credentials?

If you ask me, it needed much more than bitch slapping. I’d say a Two-by-Four upside the head is the minimal start.

If his recent stance on immigration is not fiction (deport, no laws no country, etc) then he will position Conservatives a la Art of The Deal with all the chips on our side before the negotiation begins. Usually its the other way around.

Do a search for Scott Adams on Obama. You’ll see where he stood.

inadequate credentials to lead a country

Gee, really? He builds a 10 billion dollar business empire, failing and resurrecting himself a few times along the way, and that's not enough?

As opposed to, say, a seamy community organizer from South side Chicago who has a vague and murky background but manages to get elected Senator by disqualifying the other guy by using the details of his divorce to smear him?

I guess those are Presidential "qualifications" if you're a Rat.

Trump appears to be a narcissistic blow-hard with inadequate credentials to lead a country.

After electing and propping up BO for nearly seven years, the media will never be able to use that argument on anyone again with an ounce of credibility.

Scott Adams is a doosh.

Though I used to read Dilbert for years I stopped some time ago because of his attitude toward pro-lifers.

Eat sh!t, Scott.

Interesting. Since a President’s job is to persuade (he doesn’t make law, actually lead troops, or control the economy), Trump might just be the most qualified person ever.

Credentials? What credentials? He’s over 34 and a natural born citizen. The are no other credentials.

For that matter, college is proven to lower IQs. People often learn all sorts of screwy data in college that damages their ability to think properly, Keynsian economics for instance.

No, we would do better with someone with horse sense who’s never set foot in a college than with the “brainiacs” we see now.

Many of us saw him for being a real man ... someone that is genuinely successful and egotistical, but with a common man's common sense that, oft-times seens crude ... until you realize ... he's talkin' to us like we talk with our buds, out having beers.

Either we have a country or we don't

THAT is the simplistic question and motivation behind a guy that wants to DO something besides talk .... and behind a NATION that does not want to die.

Forget all the political prattle and the super, inside knowledge of the history of Iran and Russia

Trump is the epitome FOR the gimedats .... He wants to make America what it was when it started gimedatting .... but eliminating the gimedatsness.

Who ELSE want's to turn back the clock ... fall in line over here ........

AND ... if he becomes President and he turns out to be a bad guy ... I'll go to my grave believing I made a qualified, intellligent choice on what I wanted and what I believed ... unlike the .................

Exactly. Scott Adams should stick to comic strips. With regard to competency, Obama set the bar as low as it could go. We probably cannot possibly do worse. The person who fixed my Dunkin Donuts coffee this morning could do a better job as president.

BTW, Scott Adams endorsed Mitt Romney in 2012. Not sure who he picked in 2008 but I'm pretty sure it was Obama. At least he seems to learn from his mistakes.

Pray for Trump to fill at least one Regan’s shoe!
I hope that Trump sees the legacy of Reagan and how he turned Carteristan around and fixed the crumbling world.
