Allahpundit and Cooke are rabid anti-Trump guys. Cooke must post 10 Tweets a day about Trump. Disgusting.
On the other hand, Ann Coulter came across as a harpie.
Oh, I know. She was for Mittens. I find all the GOPe concern for Trump’s conservative credentials touching, though, seeing as they did everything in their power to aid and abet Zero.
People like Charles Cooke and Glenn Beck are clueless.
CONSERVATIVES DO NOT SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP.
Simple as that.
What we do support is his verbal butt kicking on liberals and his straight shooting on basic conservative issue.
With this in mind, however, we know that Trump is likely to turn back on a moments notice and revert to his liberal tactics. And when he does, he will be dismissed. But until then - he is our useful idiot.
HotAir is full blown anti Trump. They were bought by Salem Media (Red State, Townhall, Twitchy, Human Events).
So is NRO, Weekly Standard, Washington Examiner, The Blaze, Daily Caller, WSJ, FOX News, Powerline, Right Scoop, etc.
Drudge, FR and Breitbart only sites not part of anti Trump cartel.
Trump=TRUTH
Charles “C.W.” Cooke is a joke. The C.W. stands for “Constantly Wrong”. If Bill Buckley were still in charge, this stooge wouldn’t even be allowed to sell ads for NR.
Which in funny in the case of FR when you consider just how similar Trump's flip flopping is to Romney's...and many Freepers loathed Romney.
That’s a big fence being straddled..wow.
Because Trump is the only candidate upholding Rule of Law, including the existing immigration laws. Neither the Republican nor Democrat parties are doing so.
Last time I checked those were nominally conservative internet publications. Since Trump is not a consistent, ideologically principled conservative, why would they support him? In my opinion, Trump is a lot like Gov. Christie. Christie knows how to throw down some rhetorical red meat but his policies are not what we're looking for in a president. Likewise, Trump's been all over the map on the issues. We shouldn't trust him. Besides, I don't see him being someone who can do what we really need, which is to transform the Republican party into a truly principled conservative party.
Romney’s past governance of Massachusetts provided all of us here at FR with proof - he is no conservative.
People are supporting Trump to punish the GOPe.
It’s a smart strategy, should have been done effectively a long time ago.
and many Freepers loathed Romney.

Loath Romney, present tense.
So, you’re saying Trump was/is lying every time he opened/opens his mouth and spouted/spouts some liberal position?
Mmmmkay....
Pray tell — what do you consider a “truly principled conservative party” ?.
By the way, try reading Trump’s book, Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again.
Educate yourself before slamming him.
