Social issues such as abortion and homosexuality are where the faux conservatives always seem to hide behind phrases like, "well the Supreme Court decided..."

SCOTUS has given us more than a few immoral rulings over the years. Dred Scott, Plessy v. Ferguson, Buck v. Bell and Roe v. Wade all had/have popular support even though they were/are unconscionably evil.

To: whom it may concern

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

A few thousand years later, America was settled and carved out of the wilderness by Christians who were escaping religious persecution.

And yet later, our Christian founders recognized the self-evident truth and declared that all men are created equal by their Creator (God) and endowed with certain unalienable rights, including the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

America is unique in the above and was founded on the principle that our rights are granted by God, not man or government, and these God-given rights cannot be trampled upon by government.

After the revolution, these Christian founders met again and ironed out a constitution setting up a limited federal government with certain defined (enumerated) powers and reserving all else to the states and the people to decide.

Guess what? Marriage is not listed as an enumerated power for the feds. It is most definitely reserved to the states and the people.

And guess again. Homosexual marriage is not granted by God and is not an unalienable right. In fact it is forbidden by God.

God is the first and last Word on this matter.

Free Republic is Pro-God (our one true Judeo-Christian God), pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-constitution and pro-constitutionally limited government.

I’m very serious about that statement.

Judges often make mistakes. If they rule against the people, if they rule against the sovereign states, if they rule against God, they are ruling against our founding principles and against the original intent of the constitution.

Homosexual marriage is against the Word of God, against nature, against society and against the people of the majority of the states that made it illegal. Any federal judicial ruling to the contrary is definitely illegal and is NOT valid law!
.
The ruling is illegal and we will fight it tooth and nail. We will not comply. The states must nullify this illegal ruling!

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God!

Those who wish to fight against us on any of the above, should find another forum. FR is obviously not for you.

If a baker can be compelled to bake a cake and a judge can be forced to officiate over a wedding, then why exactly can’t a cleric/member of the clergy be force to perform a wedding also?

Soldiers work for the government. And yet there are conscientious objectors who will not bear arms but have still been members in their ranks. Why are judges not allowed to object based on their conscience?

The whole point of the Nuremberg trials is that no one blindly follows orders without bearing moral responsibility. Therefore if someone must be expected to apply morality and judgment, then there must be a way to accommodate conscience.

But in the end, the strict legality is irrelevant: right and wrong transcend the letter of the law. There is the God of nature who is far above man-made law.

Daniel 3
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

You ignorant fool: have you completely not understood his initial argument?

On the matter of substance, you haven’t replied to any point he has made. How exactly has he lost the argument, FOOL?

Just for sh!ts and giggles, who is the current governor of Ohio?

Ha Kasich is rapidly trying to lock up the vote of the .001 percent of Republicans who think that that homosexual wishes should override everything else.
