Not to be nitpicky, but this joke, while classic, has always bothered me. If a doctor’s watch has stopped, they are essentially going to be reading a pulse rate of “infinite”, not zero. So it really should be “either the patient’s heart is beating impossibly fast, or my watch has stopped.” If the patient is dead, the heartbeat would read zero, regardless of the speed of the watch.

Not to play one up-manship, but I believe my first HD was 40 MB and that also had the OS on it. There was software that could compress it enough to get it up to 80 MB. The ram was 2 MB and I paid $200 to bump that up to 4 MB. No internet then, only dial up message boards (GE and AOL I think).
