To reduce carbon dioxide, how about a lawsuit to force the “youths” to hold their breath?

I can think of 21 ways that will immediately reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Alas, wishful thinking on my part.

An intelligent judge would spend some time educating these youts about reality. But I don’t think we have any in Eugene.

The suit asks a judge to order the government to swiftly reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and develop and implement a national plan to stabilize the climate.

What unmitigated gall and stupidity to think the US government has the ability to control and stabilize the climate...

Lawyer: I call the Planet Earth to the stand.

Lawyer: Now, Planet Earth: You have been very mean to humans. What say you?

(Silence)

Lawyer: I remind you, Planet Earth, YOU ARE UNDER OATH AND ARE COMPELLED TO TESTIFY!

(Silence)

Lawyer: Your Honor, this Planet is defying the court.

Judge: You’re right. Planet Earth, you are compelled to testify.

(Silence)

Judge: Planet Earth, if you do not testify, we shall hold you in contempt of court.

(Silence)

Judge: Baliff, take Planet Earth into custody. Maybe a few days in jail will loosen your tongue.

(Silence)

They are likely 21 of the irritating and dangerous bike riders. Also they are the pedestrians that slow traffic by jaywalking very slowly to make it frustrating to drive in downtown Eugene.

I would be impressed by the intelligence and depth of understanding of the nature of climate dynamics if these children had filed a complaint against the O admin for its opposition to fossil fuel. As it is they are merely wallowing in ignorance.

The problem with Planned Parenthood is that they are never utilized when they SHOULD be.

I’d be more impressed if they had brought a class action against the public education system for failing to educate them in a way that doesn’t harm their opportunity for being successful.
