On August 13 Florida League of Women Voters (FLWV) Gun Safety Committee chair Patti Brigham will hold a conference for leaders who oppose arming women and other law-abiding citizens on college campuses for self-defense.
Brigham’s conference comes as Florida state senator Greg Evers (R-Baker) and representative Greg Steube (R-Sarasota) prepare to renew their push for women with concealed carry permits to be able to carry guns on college campuses for self-defense. Evers and Stuebe both offered bills that would have allowed women to arm themselves in 2015, and both bills were defeated by opposition from gun control groups geared toward women. Groups like FLWV and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America both rallied to keep women on campus from being armed.
Now FLWV is gearing up to fight to keep women unarmed on campus in 2016 as well.

Brick and mortar universities need to be abandoned for online learning and prometric-style certification testing.
Most victims want two things when under attack; God & a gun.
I think the reasoning is that bearing arms is an aggressive act.

And there's the real War on Women.
These professional victim groups need an adequate supply of victims to use as cannon fodder to sustain and reinforce their cause, and their cause has nothing to do with protecting young women on college campuses.
It isn't about the message, it is all about the revolution. The revolution is all that matters. These trolls don't even hide their communist intentions anymore.
I say let young women in college take CCW training, get class credit, and then arm themselves to the teeth. Same with the young men. Things will sort themselves out shortly thereafter.

The League of Women Voters veered hard Left decades ago.
Yes, some do suffer from that delusion. They're insane and stupid.
Others know perfectly well that the police cannot protect the individual citizen; for them that's part of the plan. The plan is to centralize all power in the Government Almighty (which these people control). Any individual power, such as the power of self defense, which they do not control must be suppressed. This desire to suppress the individual is at the heart of all leftism. Such people as these are evil.
