Big Donors Warn Candidates On Eve Of Debate: “Take Trump Out”
dc whispers ^ | August 5, 2015

Posted on 08/06/2015 9:14:13 AM PDT by Red Steel

Though the Fox News promos state it is a debate of Republican candidates, most of the network’s on-air personalities have admitted publicly it has turned into the Donald Trump show as the top GOP contender has become the single most referenced topic on the minds of everyone following the 2016 Race for the White House.

That reality is not sitting well with GOP power brokers who are said to have made it clear to operatives linked to a variety of candidate camps that Donald Trump cannot be allowed to appear to win tomorrow night’s debate. Some are said to have taken an even more aggressive stance by indicating Trump’s Republican rivals are to “take him out” tomorrow night.

Trump has shocked the GOP establishment with his currently growing base of support based largely on his straight talk and a repeated promise to “Make America Great Again.”

That dominance is said to be facing its most focused challenge tomorrow night as Mr. Trump will be target #1 for a number of GOP hopefuls who have been told their own presidential hopes will be finished if they do not help in breaking the Trump momentum once and for all. This threat is said to come from an assortment of Wall Street and business interests concerned over the potential volatility of a Trump political machine – volatility that might make him “unmanageable” should he actually go on to become the Republican nominee.

It should also be noted some of these high-powered donors are helping to finance the campaigns of BOTH Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush. Presently, Donald Trump represents the single greatest threat to their intention of controlling the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Of the candidates who are said to have been given their anti-Trump marching orders last night, one was apparently told with the greatest sense of urgency – Senator Marco Rubio

Senator Rubio is currently sitting near the bottom of the top-tier candidate rankings with just 5% support among Republican voters. He was not so long ago viewed by some to be a legitimate contender for the GOP nomination. If he is to regain that former momentum (and the all-important campaign dollars that come to a real contender) he must prove himself to the political donor class tomorrow night by coming out aggressively against Mr. Trump.

It was reportedly the Rubio campaign that was specifically given the directive to, “take Trump out” during this week’s debate.

They’re out of their minds if they think they can make such a thing public AND still have it be effective. Trump has the money not to be ignored. He has the money to get media assistance in turning around any errors he might make. Nor do I think, as Krauthammer, Hume, et al do, that Trump will be ruined by demonstrating he has no grasp of specifics. Generalities are what has made Madison Avenue rich...slogans, if you will.

What will take Trump out is someone being better than Trump.

But, I guarantee you, as one long time Freeper has said, if it’s between Trump and Hillary, I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump.

Rush has spent the entire show this morning so far...talking about Trump. He keeps repeating the 3 words Jeb used without bleeps.

They (the donors) only care that one or the other of the Two-Party Carel wins. Trumps is an outsider. The ONLY one running, so he must be stopped.

I'm watching tonight to see if Megyn Kelly shows the whole country her ass trying to cut up Trump.

I daresay Trump totally gets it up for this kind of challenge.

And the more these colluding a-holes pull this, the more cemented in the American mind it becomes that the Republican Party is a corrupt power-clinger with NO CONNECTION to the USA, the Constitution, or even truth itself.

If you were an elite, you’d not be thinking of the constitution, you’d be trying to control a bureaucrat that you think would best serve your personal interests. Try to never become an elite.

So will most of the republicans who have claimed they would never vote for Trump.

Although I would definitely prefer Cruz, I don't know if he can make it to the top of the pack. The press is doing everything in their power to ignore him. That leaves a large chunk of the electorate in the dark.

I really, really, really hope they try. There is only one guy that will be on the stage tonight that I think could really do a number on Trump, and that’s Cruz. I seriously doubt he would try. If any of the others do their master’s bidding, they are more likely than not to get slapped down really hard.

There it is, ladies and gentlemen. Clinton & Bush, the Democrat and Republican candidate for 2016 as chosen by the financial and political cartels!!!

It’s been known for weeks these debates will be the most corrupt in U.S. history. Having the MSM in the debates makes them a de facto participant.

This is like walking into court and seeing the prosecutors wife on the bench.

HOwever, those same companies are in the position to up and move their jobs overseas to where they think the cheaper talent is. So, you have to ask yourself, in the long term, do you want to consider the H1-B issue more devastating than companies moving their ops to foreign soil? It’s worth a discussion.

Many managers are extremely uncomfortable with having their team out of physical view.

Moving the entire operation to another country would entail moving most of the management to places they'd rather not live, and have them directly report to people with very little ability to check behind them.

....”Donald Trump represents the single greatest threat to their (The Establishments) intention of controlling the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.”......

There’s a great deal of political donors and otherwise attempting to control this election....I do believe Trump is the “target” they have to take out.

Newt said....”

You don’t know whether this is going to be a meat grinder year, in which case the guy with the biggest bucks probably has a substantial advantage,...“[Or] is this going to be a news media populist uprising year, in which case there are at least five or six guys who could take advantage of that”

Also Cruz voted for the trade deal and the Corker bill. He also volunteered that he would consider means testing Social Security. That’s taking away someone’s money to give it to the ones who didn’t save for their retirement. Include the Federal pensions that people get when working for the government, then maybe we could think about it. But I’m sure there’s plenty of fraud and waste that could be eliminated first.

I said two weeks ago the influence peddlers and corrupt insiders couldn’t care less if Hillary or Bush get in.

They have little preference. It’s doesn’t matter. They need people they can control.

Cruz has gathered a lot of money, and he should spend some of it to keep from being ignored. As I understand it, he has used each round of giving to invest in a donation campaign to expand that giving base. That’s an ok strategy if you survive, but if you don’t keep your name relevant with at least some of the cash you have, then you will die on the vine.

And that base might not even help retain a senate seat.

There’s a piece of me would rather see Cruz as a Scotus justice.

I am for the guy against the H1-B visa program, and for imposing real border security. Amnesty in any form is a killer. Path to citizenship is a killer.

Nothing else matters because the Republic can not survive if we Patriots become a minority in our own Country.

A lot of talk about Fox moderator’s secret techniques to deal with Trump, but is it really about fair time?

Trump has a history of slapping down reporters.

Trump to reporter in LA:

“Do you have a college degree? (ah yeah)...THEN READ THE LETTER!”

Trump will do similar and the crowd will roar!

Fox moderators egos won’t allow that to stand.

If Trump spends his thirty seconds making the moderator look foolish, do you think they will let that stand and go to the next debater??? HELL NO!

So then the moderator is in an argument with Trump. (Win for Trump!)

Trump should come right out and say:

“Listen...the media has a lower approval rating than congress...single digit...I TREAT YOU ALL ACCORDINGLY!”

The crowd will go crazy...!!!
