More than two-thirds of Obamacare enrollees unsatisfied with coverage(did any vote for Obama?)
The Washington Times ^ | 08/03/15 | Tom Howell Junior

Obamacare has offered insurance to millions of people, but they’re unhappy with the coverage they’re getting and are particularly upset about the costs, according to a survey released Monday that suggests the health care law continues to struggle to win over Americans. Just 30 percent of customers on Obamacare’s exchanges were satisfied with their coverage, the health care research arm of the Deloitte consulting firm said. Only a quarter of Obamacare customers in the survey were confident that they could get care when they needed it, and just 16 percent felt “financially prepared” to handle future health care costs, Deloitte said. “Those are not high numbers,” said Paul Lambdin, a director for Deloitte’s work on insurance exchanges and retail practices.

And how many will admit they voted for Obama...? None of them could see this train wreck coming...? What a damn joke!

And how many will admit they voted for Obama...?

For some strange reason, they believed that if they liked their plan, they could keep it.

The other third are either slackards who are paying nothing or haven’t got the bill for the deductible yet.

If you sat down with most people....I think roughly half of the negative folks would center on the deductible business. Most people from five to ten years ago remember when their deductible was 1,500 to 3,000 dollars. Today, I think the majority are working with 6,000 dollars.

If you make less than $50,000 a year....this $6,000 deductible is a big deal. So you try to talk the kids into getting by and convince the wife her ailments aren’t bad....but once you cross the $5,000 range in money spent....well, it’s hog-heaven and just ‘go-for-it’.

Remember, the critters rammed it through on Christmas Eve, 2010.

Most of us were taken completely unaware, thinking our angry demonstrations at countless town hall meetings that Fall had communicated our thoughts on the Affordable Care act.
Who woulda thought creatures as lazy, venal and irresponsible as congress persons would be working on Christmas Eve?
Burglar hours.

... or haven’t got the bill for the deductible yet

They probably think the deductible is what the Doctor deducts from the bill because they have Obamacare. It hasn't dawned on them that they have to pay it.

Insurance is good for insurance companies.

A friend and Obama worshiper was all excited when she snared coverage for a ridiculously low premium. She could not understand why I objected so strongly to Obamacare.

Well, she underwent physical therapy; then she received the bill — $1200. She didn't realize her really swell low premium insurance carried a hefty deductible.

Of course, being an Obama true believer, she blamed the insurance company.

"Affordable Care Act":

they’re . . . particularly upset about the costs - so much for "Affordable"

Only a quarter of Obamacare customers in the survey were confident that they could get care when they needed it - so much for "Care".

It was all an "Act" - the only part of the name that is true.

Stupidity is incredible, isn’t it? It can conquer anything.

Question for any Obamacare Expert:

Do those who get subsidized Obamacare policies also get a reduction in the deductibles which normally are, IIRC, quite high?

If so, is there a formula for the level of discount (e.g. as a function of income?)

“Today, I think the majority are working with 6,000 dollars.”

This is the result of using medicine as a social engineering tool.

I’ve just took a class in government with a liberal Professor and he had the young class read all of his left wing crap about this as well as other issues.

I pointed out with links and facts from as non biased sources as possible that Obama care does not nor ever will work.

There is still some young kids who have just left high school who refuse to believe the facts and still argue most like obamacare and support it and it is a success.

Want to see how dumb America will be in the future, then go to a college and take a class. It is mind blowing , because of the left wing indoctrination.

I honestly do not know what the liberal mind thinks.

I have just posted on this thread how young kids at college where I took a class have been brainwashed. No matter how many times the facts were given they still refuse to go against their liberal indoctrination.

They will vent their wrath on the EEEEEEEEVIL insurance companies, and demand single payer. All according to plan.

The 30% that are satisfied have never had to file a claim.

This is another issue that the republicans have accepted as “the law of the land” as Boner put it. Cruz and Trump are promising to repeal it. Another issue that puts those two in front. The rest are just saying what they think they need to say.

And how many will admit they voted for Obama...?

The best answer you will get is "I can't remember that far back!"
