Right. As a landlord myself, it’s not my job to determine the validity of a tenant’s residence nor for that matter, the attraction he/she/it may have for whatever unless it disrupts the neighborhood or damages the property.

AND ... as a landlord ... you're not allowed to ask anything about a persons sex, gender, religion, political affiliation etc., so how can you KNOW who that person is?

And if you SHOULD ask, and you're taken to court, you'll lose it all and no longer BE the landlord.

Its not your job... but it would be a pretty smart thing to do since its your investment they're going to be living in..... What are you thinking?

I am a LL also. There is a town in Nebraska I think that passed a similar ordinance. I have mixed thoughts on it.
